Jacobs Ladder is pretty awesome, definitely one of the classics around here. Some riders like to flip it around and to the main descent in reverse, I prefer it this way around 👍, hitting it again this weekend 🤘
Always great to see my local trails and to hear the thoughts on people's first visits. Jacob's isn't too scary really but certainly an epic route. Of course I ride it battery free 😜 (when me or the bike aren't broken).
I needed to make sure beginners know what's involved. Iv been riding since 1989 on and off so no biggy really, but a lot of new subscribers seem to be new riders, and Jacobs is not really for beginners or the inexperienced especially if they have just bought a bike for the first time. There’s loads of equally great riding starting from the same area. And you’ve done Jakob’s ladder now and near Cavedale, so don’t get distracted too much by The Beast and Potatoe Alley.
