Out of all of the artwork of these freeways, i really like the purple triangular design on the santan freeway on the loop 202, it gave me nostalgia. And I especially loved taking the route on price road, where you get to enter through under passes of the ramps in the Loop 202/Loop 101 interchange.
Growing up, they tore my neighborhood down to connect the 10 freeway through Phoenix. It seems like it took 5 years as we played in the houses forever. I lived at 1301 E Garfield 20 years
For an European the Phoenix metropolitan area is really weird and also fascinating. 50 miles of just straight streets, quarters of suburbs... good video!
Umm... Phoenix may not be that kind of town, (tough to get from town out to the extreme east valley, but. I have thought about the metro from Mesa to Downtown. Let me know your thoughts.
@@DeweysWorld well, I just looked it up, and it can be done, but it takes almost three hours, rail, three busses, and about 20 minutes of walking along a noisy stroad without any shade. It's actually one of the few places a person without a car can get to in Gilbert as there's only three bus routes that go through it and the other two offer very limited service. Service on Route 156 is surprisingly not awful all things considered. I think the haves in the Phoenix area take their cars for granted and assume everyone has one, and don't recognize or acknowledge the struggle the have-nots face here every day without one. I also don't think the average person who has the financial privilege to drive could last a whole week here without driving or using ride share. Those who can't afford to drive are treated as completely second class citizens and often assumed to be homeless by those wealthy enough to have a car to drive.
It’s hot in July, but it’s really nice in January. Cost of living is low, and parts of the valley are safe and “relatively”inexpensive. Been here 10 years. And when I travel other spots I am grateful for the area out here. All in all… yes. 🙌
I been living in this desert wasteland sent 2015 there so many cows & corns of the Midwest you can take before it starts getting boring now if Thay can fix the drug problem & homeless problem I would have complaint about AZ.
Amazing how clean and modern, best freeways
Couldn't agree more!
This brings me back to the days in ASU. I really miss AZ!
Forks Up! Thanks for stopping by!

Totally, that grid pattern has its strengths and drawbacks.
🤠 🧡 More!! 💥 👋
Good driver
Thank you!
Now do a video of how someone would make this journey without a car using public transportation
