- Dragon Nest is going to have its own animated movie in 2013! Shanda Games is cooperating with Mili Pictures to produce a trilogy, of which scripts are written by Terry Izumi from "Shrek" and scenes are directed by the Chinese Animation Director Song Yue-feng. The storyline of the movie is adapted from the online blockbuster Dragon Nest, which was originally developed by Eyedentity Games, Korea, and is currently serving 13 countries and regions with 10 servers.

This movie is based on the legend of the 6 heroes fighting the Black Dragon in the Dragon Nest Raid 50 years ago. The 6 dragon slayers include Geraint the Gold Dragon, Nerwin the Archer, (the following not in the trailer) Velskud, Karacule the Soceress, Barnac the Warrior and Terra the Cleric.
Some people suggest that the child in the movie might be Velskud.

When it comes to the skills, the reason I think "Gerraint has skills of different classes" rather than that "skills of different classes look like Gerraint's" is that all Fire, Ice and Dark magic is invented (or should I say discovered) by Soceress first-hand, while Light magic is granted to Cleric by the Goddess directly. But maybe you're right because Gerraint should be older than the history of Soceress, so he probably learnt linear ray EX earlier than Smashers.
This is not the storyline of the 32 mission but the legend of the 6 black dragon fighters 50 years ago. The 6 fighters include (I'm not sure about the exact English version name) Gelaint the Gold Dragon, Velskut, Narwin the Archer, Rambert the Warrior, Karachu the Soceress, and Taramaya the Cleric.
I would be more glad about it if it will be released in the movie with English dub(instead of using english subtitles) at the other countries, more likely here in the Philippines. Nuff said.
People just need to remember, that the characters within the movie are not part of the classes we go through in the game, and therefore their 'skill' set is far different from what we are used to.
I recall that Argenta and Gerraint are the images (parts) of the Dragon of Order (I don't know the exact English) which is the world itself, or at least the source of energy that supports the world.
Some people also suggest that the character mentioned could be one of the soldiers whose home was destroyed by the black dragon's troop. There are plenty of possibilities indeed.
Gerraint is the Gold Dragon and is the world itself. He can use skills of different classes such as Photon Ray (Linear Ray) EX (in the game) and Crescent Cleave (in the video).
lol wut? gerrant isn't the world and he has his own skills, not skills of other classes. the other classes skills merely look like his. (not really, only linear ray ex)
btw the plot is about the Dragon Nest Raid 50 years ago, for details please see video description. It is the black dragon instead of the dark knight for sure.

Um, they are exactly the same. You need to check your versions, unless you honestly thought they went out of their way to get a symphony to record a track that similar. I also never said they didn't have permission to use it, but the fact of the matter is, it is the United We Stand track. I personally think it's cool, but who knows if they got permission for it being an international dev like they are. ~shrugs~
Cassius I the Knight King became Saint's Haven most famous king. Gunther remained at Saint's Haven as the Free Adventurer's League guild master. Stashy remained as the Crest Scholar, though he witnessed Velskud's betrayal and is still haunted by it. Isillien remained as the archer trainer.
With the help of the player and Gerrant's explanation, Stashy discovered that the Black Dragon Karas was a weapon created by the Ancients using a piece of the Chaos Dragon.
Gerrant became famous among the citizens of Saint's Haven and his name is spoken for generations to come. History recorded the appearance of his Gold Dragon form fighting against the Black Dragon Karas though no one made the connection between the Gold Dragon and Gerrant. On the other hand, Argenta was mostly forgotten, though Divine Flirtations featured her look as a fashion fad for a period of time.
Gerrant decided to hunt down Velskud and to collect all the pieces of the Chaos Dragon. Argenta decided to look for Rose, a descendant of the Ancients. Varnak left the leadership of the Free Adventurer's League to Gunther and formed a vigilante group. Kasarana returned to the Astral Coven to tutor future sorceresses including Cynthia and Lady Kaylinn before retiring to Lotus Marsh. Nerwin returned to her home and became their queen. Terram became the pontiff of the Divine Knights.
After a long and arduous war, the Six Heroes finally defeated the Black Dragon but it was not without complications. Gerrant turned into his Gold Dragon form to duel the Black Dragon himself. The Six Heroes who saw him was shocked by the fact that Gerrant was a actually a dragon. Varnak and Kasarana was disgusted and felt betrayed. Velskud stole the Black Dragon's lustre under the order of Kalahan. The other 5 heroes were too exhausted from the war and was unable to stop Velskud.
Saint's Haven served as the base of the resistance. The people of Saint's Haven got to meet the Six Heroes and celebrated their presence. Scholars such as Stashy did research on the Black Dragon.
While the Six Heroes led the forces against the Black Dragon, Saint's Haven itself was under attack by Elena and her army. Argenta and her forces defended against Elena's assault and she regards Argenta as her rival.
Gerrant and the Six Heroes:
Gerrant the Gold Dragon sent out a call to arms to all of humanity. Gerrant led his own group known as the Dragon Slayers and also became the leader of the Six Heroes, which consisted of Velskud of the Saint's Haven Royal Army, Varnak of the Free Adventurer's League, Kasarana of the Astral Coven Sorceresses, Nerwin of the Silver Crescent Archers, and Terram of the Divine Knights.

50 years ago during the reign of Cassius I the Knight King, the Black Dragon Karas raised an army and threatened the world of Altera. With the help of Elena, the Black Dragon's army consisted of a large variety of monsters. The Black Dragon's power also attracted many followers among the human populace who worked for the Black Dragon both openly and secretly.
this is a prequel to the Black dragon Raid, the war against black dragon karas did not happen for just a day, they did not specify as to how long it was. the boy is Velskud in his early years
barnac karakyul and terramai were never shown because they are still young and are having their own adventures. Velskud's adventure was about the black dragon from the start.
only Nerwin and Geraint are shown at full age because they don't age the same.
what DN are you playing? I'm on SEA, Lv.50 cap is yet to release, for now according to the main 4 character, velskud kidnapped rose for some reason, and so he is the bad guy. BUT... when the ACADEMIC class came, along with her story line, velskud is NOT a bad guy and the last part of her mission before going to lotus marsh it is BISHOP IGNACIO who planned it all at took rose from the castles basement and gone [lotus mash]
Obviously I do read the Main Mission, the story line. LoL!

I compared the music once again and they're not actually the exact same. There's a small difference if you notice. Even if they really used the music of TSFH, we can't be sure if they plagiarized it. Perhaps they have the permission to use it since TSFH is a company which produces music for movie trailers.

No I'm not the composer of this trailer or TSFH but go to the website, look for the section "Who Are We?" and read it. You should know that TSFH is a company produces music for movie trailers. You can't say movie trailer composers plagiarize musics from TSFH even though if they didn't plagiarize them.
LOL i always wondered bout expendable soldiers and heroes so to speak. Like in any war movie, it seems the leaders are wearing better armor etc, but wudnt it be even BETTER if they gave everyone great armor and weapons?

This wud be great! But there are things that seems to be wrong
1st, Why does the Black Dragon breathing fire? It's suppose to be black breath and 2nd, why is that warrior howling like an axe/hammer type? You guy must follow the original story of the game or this would be lame..
Elena and the Dragon Followers:
The Dragon Followers remained active until the present day even after the defeat of the Black Dragon Karas, but they have found a different goal to pursue. Elena retreated and rebuilt her army, and later instigated The Siege of Carderock.
Though they were horrified by Velskud's betrayal, they decided that it would be best to keep it secret lest it would curtail a huge uproar from the Saint's Haven citizens and royal family. Thus, history recorded the end of the war as the defeat of the Black Dragon due to the noble sacrifice of Velskud.
The english version names of the 6 heroes are:
Geraint, leader and founder of the Dragon Slayers and also the gold dragon
Velskud, captain and skilled knight
Barnac, mercenary
Nerwin, leader of the Silver Crescent Archers
Terra, templar knight/cleric
Karacule/Karakyul, sorceress
lol because Two Steps From Hell specialize in making movie trailer music which is y a lot of their songs are so epic.
There's a quest in DN wherein you can relive the memories of the 6 Heroes prior to their battle with the Black Dragon. Velskud cannot be the kid in this video because Velskud was already a man. I think the kid here is another addition to those heroes.

Argenta was also involved in the war, though she refused to be grouped with them. She insisted that the combined power of Gerrant and her's was enough to defeat the Black Dragon. Argenta paid no attention to the 5 heroes.
It's possible that they modified the storyline. I would like to believe it's not Velskud either and that the little kid is actually the warrior from the game...I mean the part with Gerrant does look very similar ingame
maybe.. coz' in the game, my hero is with argenta and geraint, rescuing rose in that same place.. so if the location is same then this might be the dragons nest? or just a base. whatever. still awesome haha.

He betrayed them by stealing the chaos dragon's lusture. This may represent the that fight with the corrupted chaos dragon (Yes, the chaos dragon actually fought for good before it was corrupted xD)
I thought it was TSFH to begin with as well, but the more I listened to it the more convinced I am that its just a cheap remake. There are too many differences between the two versions :/

I listened to it again and yeah, it's the same. The music from this trailer only used a part of the music and thus makes me into believing that they're similar but different.
could that be Lambert? the warrior's dad. since he looks like a kid/teenager in the movie so maybe when the incident ended he is old enough to become Barnac's apprentice?

its a different story.. i guess they will made a trilogy of this... for all we know cleric and sorceress have a diff. plot of story.. and alchemist too...
