Great video as always,i love Oban,we were there twice in last few years, beautiful wee town with great food, great people, many turists, greetings from falkirk✌️
Living in The Netherlands (50% Dutch) my father told us about Oban when he stayed there as a deck officer of the Dutch Merchant Navy during WW 2 and how he had to prepare the ships to be detonated off Arromanches beach (Normandy) as essential part of the landings. The detonated ships served as sea-breaker walls partly for the landing itself and the port that was constructed afterwards. He fell in love with Oban but never had the chance to return; however, in search of my father's tracks, we visited Oban in 2022, and like him, we also fell in love with Oban.
