JunkYard car and truck classics - diorama tour Part Two!

- Come check out a wide variety of vintage diecast cars and trucks, wrecked and left in the woods at a long-since retired scrap yard auto salvage site. There are lines and piles of old Fords, Chevys, Pontiacs, GMC, Dodges, muscle cars, pickup trucks, and big rigs. Thank you for this video. I'm 56 years old. I had a smile on my face throughout as I remembered each one I had; my survivors are still with me, some in the same shape as yours, and I held each one up that I saw on your video. We really played these hard and they took lots of punishment.
I'm not sure what was more surprising, the Sally Ford song or the cat in the box.

Great use of the junk cars, they fit perfect there. And if you ever decide to start restoring you can just pull one out and get it into the bodyshop for a makeover.
Even your junk yard has some real value!!! The size is outstanding as well. I can't wait to build my yard of sorts.

Enjoyed this tour of the junkyard, showing the cars you picked up recently. I'm sure I've said it before, but your diorama table is sooooo awesome! I need to find time to make a similar one - as close to yours as possible because I love it! The tunes were fab too. Thanks buddy =)
Wow that was a cool video! Really nice looking yard, very detailed and realistic. Great job! The song goes really well with it too. My yard is Rockett Auto Salvage. I used to have about 200 cars but I've scaled it down to about 40.
I have my own yard. It's part of a gas station, so size is limited to a handful of wrecks. What I call MY biz is the salvage yard at the Tri-G (Grease, Gas, and Girls) Speed Shop. Amazing how these fictionally themed diorama projects can come to mean so much to craftsmen like us, but they just do somehow!

So much stuff I want! I have the 1977 Japan re-release of the Lesney 1970 Rolls Royce in very good condition but no box, I have been searching for a box because the Japan boxes are by far my favourite followed by the overstamp "Superfast" on the regular wheels boxes from 1969.

Just if you have any scratched up hot wheels or any brand of toy cars it’s a great like prop in a diorama of a junkyard like that or a scrapyard or a auto auction. 👍🏻

How was this stone path mede ???
White glue cut half with water, pasted on with brush and then sprinkle HO scale hobby train sand in varying colors over the glue. Repeat until you have desired color, coverage, and texture. Lots of good tutorials on youtube, just look up HO diorama how-to's

Your junkyard, on the face of it, is superior to mine owing to size and width. But then, you focused on an out-and-out yard; minus anything supplemental; try a gas station. I HAVE a gas station, and MY junkyard is only one property parcel. At first glance, it might seem as though it's cramped, and the flatbed truck I have for it seems to have outgrown the place. Of course, it's really only one part of a sizable speed shop and Sinclair Station business. If I may, I did have to point out that while you did a vastly impressive likeness of an all American auto morgue, and like me, you properly included stacks of cars which is almost mandatory for a place like we both apparently have, you fall a bit off kilter in terms of plausibility. I have to cite in places too many of the same vehicle; et, al the #58 Matchbox Girder Flatbed, and several of the Husky Tipper Lorrys. I, as a rule, prefer to only feature one of any particular model, to assert variety, as well as aforementioned plausibility. Yours is exceptional, and being themed in a field, you can add as many as you want to. Good day, and every good luck ☘️☘️☘️
