@@bem0565 Real late on this, but its actually Dunes. This is the cinematic for ultimate, not base MH4, so its showing off that Dunes was added in the expansion.
After his Insect Glaive-wielding hunting partner was killed by the Gore Magala, Bald Bowgun Dude retired from hunting for good and now mentors young Guild recruits fresh out of the Wycademy. He was then fired after four of his students were unceremoniously disemboweled by a Seregios while he was nursing a hangover at the base camp.
+Justin St-Georges That's why I love it so much. As much as I'd love one, it doesn't actually need a story too much because currently you feel like just another hunter who becomes powerful on his own merit. You're not some warrior of destiny, you're a normal person and hunting monsters is something a lot of people in this world do. It makes sense that there's an online guild where you can fight with your friends because you're nothing special just by yourself. You make your own path in the Monster Hunter world. You don't have any magical powers or anything crazy, you're a person doing your job to make money and protect people. I don't know any police officers or soldiers who go on fantastical adventures for the fate of the universe, they do their job and succeed because of what they do for themselves, and that's exactly what happens in the Monster Hunter series. Sometimes you need help, sometimes you can do it yourself, and everyone can all obtain the same level of power and skill depending on your in-game actions. It's one of the most realistic universes in video games and it feels awesome to take part in. You become stronger because of what you did. You don't have any special advantage over the monsters or anyone else. You are normal and make yourself extraordinary through actual challenges and obtaining rewards from your own successes and nothing else. If monsters existed and humans could wield weapons that large(and created the civilization we see in the game that way instead of the way our history went), then everything is perfectly reasonable in the Monster Hunter universe. It's the most rewarding series of games I've ever played and I'll always love Monster Hunter.
+David Bruder What a lovely description! I totally agree. Little additions like the girl with the dual blades eating Mosswine Jerky (I think that's what it is!) and the Cool Drink quaking as the Diablos approached certainly makes everything seem like a living, breathing world. The story mode often does make you seem like THE BEST GUY EVER, but they always hint at the guild quests being far more difficult, so you never get overconfident. I agree that there doesn't need to be a story, but I will say that I'm thankful there's some interesting and creative lore going on. The lore about the elder dragons is always super interesting, the quest descriptions are always usually pretty funny or clever, I genuinely don't think there's a single unlikeable character, save the Ace Cadet if his puns get too irritating... But that's the beauty of it! He's still a good kid who's eager to learn and help those around him, he's just an overconfident little sod who uses way too many monster puns!
+David Bruder And I love that monsters aren't evil legions of a demon or enemy soldiers or something like that; they're simply wild animals existing in their habitat that just so happen to pose a serious threat to humans. I love that they always pay close attention to monster ecology (for the most part) like Zinogre getting his power from charged up thunderbugs, or Royal Ludroth needing to retain water in his spongy scales in order to live a terrestrial life... There's just a lot of interesting and creative stuff going on. It's a game that makes you feel different things, anxiety about facing new, stronger monsters, or that unparalleled feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction when you overcome something that seemed impossible before. It's an incredibly rewarding experience that doesn't rely on avatar strength or arbitrary values to progress... You get stronger because you put in the work. You worked for better equipment, you worked to learn that monster's attacks.
+Orion Pax well if i hunt with frieends and go up against some stronger monsters we tend to think up some good strategies before too though the only real reason to use strategies as orchestrated as this is if you are doing speedruns.
playing it at 0.25 normal speed just makes every little detail pop out that you miss through the speed of it, man this is one deep animation impressive.
Seregios uses the animation patterns of Gore Magala and has the attacks of a Congalala but inflicts the status effects of a Khezu. Is it a bug or a feature?
Everyone here is just like "Where is MHX goddammit?!", but every true fan knows it will come to US and Europe anyway, it was the same with MH4U, so calm down guys and get to HR999 in 4U...
Lythiaren its not even the best way to rank up iirc... i think the dual gold rajang on the ingle isle quest rewards you with much more HR points than CQs ^^
Imagine a series of Monster Hunter but there wont be main characters and stuff. Every episode would just shift to a new hunter goin about this hunt. Some episodes are hunters in groups hunting a small prey or a lone wolf battling a dragon. I think thatd be awesome
I genuinely love this game for a lot of reasons, but there's one that I've been considering lately that makes me love it even more. Generally I use blademaster weapons. That's my forte, and the gunlance will always be my bae... But lately I've been interested in the ranged weapons and how they work, so after always saying that I would try it eventually, I finally did it, started a new 4U save file and started with LBG. I couldn't quite grasp a lot of the things it has going on for it, the evasions are strange, but I learned to like it and progressively got a bit better... But once I picked up the HBG, I wasn't going back. It eventually got to a point where I was clearing quests faster than I have with any other weapon. All the different shot types are awesome and I love love LOVE siege mode to pieces. And that's when I realized that I love how the ranged weapons in Monster Hunter aren't simply an afterthought. Starting off fresh as a bowgunner is like playing a brand new game.
i can't play ranged for shit. you don't do any real damage, even at the correct distance, and i hate having to buy ammunition for every hunt just to keep the time under 25 minutes..
So that hammerhead monster saved Diablos from falling into a trap. Then it looks like that hammer head brought an extra friend along to help diablos fight the hunters. Clever girl.
This opening showcase 4 tactical choice, which most of it never been used by people. Who would've though to put barrel bomb on the cactus and run toward more barrel bomb, and next lure it to pitfall. and i can safely say that -most- a lot of people just don't throw sonic bomb on cephadrome, or lure the blos to hit a wall.
the monsters have more table-manners than the human in monster hunter. (ettiquette or however you spell it) the humans just gobbles on shit like it's their last meal ever.
This animation is far from any semblance of quality regarding MHO... If you want a game that is entirely CG and has a pay2win feature, go ahead, get MHO. I would rather pass on that pustule to an otherwise gorgeous face like Monster Hunter Online.
The entire thing lags massively. Also, what you said about leveling up- yeah, incredibly boring and repetitive. There's a meme that's been floating around for a while: 'One does not simply play MonHun for a few hours.' Yeah. Online's about an hour and a half before you need real money to get back to fight.
Great opening, but we have been teased enough. Lost Planet has E.X. Troopers which needs to be localised. Monster Hunter has X, Stories, Diary DX, Online and Frontier. Stop stalling.
I thought mh4u can be played on ppsspp I want that charge blade real bad... its feels good to do a combo with that Welp, getting Rathalos GS is also satisfied enough
alright, a monster hunter movie, series, anime would be awesome, list these suggestions, but it's not at the top of the wishlist!! Capcom....just listen to the fan base already and TRANSLATE AND SELL MONSTER HUNTER CROSS OVER THE SEAS ALREADY!!!!...WE ALL KNOW ABOUT IT!!!!!
little did anyone realize. we were already watching an advance preview of monsterhunter world back in 2016 before its announcement.
NCHProductions ayyy its you
NCHProductions ,yep.this is in wildspire waste
This might actually be the case, if you look closely you can see that the Seregios' graphical design looks very strangely out of place.
personally i found this movie more appealing than the paul W.S anderson movie
@@bem0565 Real late on this, but its actually Dunes. This is the cinematic for ultimate, not base MH4, so its showing off that Dunes was added in the expansion.
This intro perfectly illustrates how quickly a good hunt can go to hell on MH
tell me about it.. no such thing as easy in this game

nice theory. if only the cinematic at the end of 4U wasn't there XD
i know it's 3 years too late but i love this comment
I'd love a full movie like this
It'd be amazing, even though you can't understand what they say. The animation for these videos is beautiful. :)
+Orion Pax who says I can't understand?
Well they just grunt and stuff, you can understand that? :o
+Orion Pax you don't need discernible words to understand what they mean.
True i suppose. :)
2:55 That Chargeblade animation (motion capture?) looks beautiful!
These are the best, it makes the Monster Hunter world feel alive and real
+Justin St-Georges That's why I love it so much. +the bonesauce the game is hard for me I got MHU3 on wii u lol. Monsters smack me left and right
C - Man
Just keep at it dude!
If only actual players used teamwork like that..
yeah in game all 4 hunters just beat the crap put of the monster until it dies or gets captured
Well, the prevailing strategy ever since MH1 on PS2 was "hit it til it stops moving", so....
+Orion Pax well if i hunt with frieends and go up against some stronger monsters we tend to think up some good strategies before too
though the only real reason to use strategies as orchestrated as this is if you are doing speedruns.
+Lythiaren True, and that is a pretty good strategy! xD
+Lythiaren Let's group up...AND HIT IT 'TILL IT DIES!!(please tell me someone gets the reference)
We all know you can't break a Diablos' horn that easily
Sorry for the late reply, but you can with bombs.
Not thing that repeat hammer can't fix.
Large barrel bomb+ wants to know your IP😂
I said it once, I'll say it again. It never gets old :)
What playing Wildspire Waste in the MH:World demo feels like...
Happy birthday, 4U!
I hope X manages to hold up to your quality!
yeah
happy birthday
imo this cinematic is way cooler than the first mh4u cinematic
2:57 That charge blade ignited a flame of hype into me xd
Crazy how far we've come in such a short time where the game itself pretty much looks like this now
And acts like this
Holy shit!! I have never seen this cinematic before! That was badass!! How come I only ever see the other one??
You have to go to the gallery to watch it.
you can also wait on the title screen long enough
One year ago was the beginning of me playing monster hunter 4 almost every night over a third of a year. Good game, good times! :')
playing it at 0.25 normal speed just makes every little detail pop out that you miss through the speed of it, man this is one deep animation impressive.
Perfectly encapsulates what Monster Hunter is all about. It's like they took all their ideas they used in the intros and put them into World.
i wish hunts truly went like this
Instead of "beating the crap out of the creatures"?
+Rei Ayanami It would bring a new perspective.
It would be like a bethesda game
You never know when will it all go wrong
Seregios uses the animation patterns of Gore Magala and has the attacks of a Congalala but inflicts the status effects of a Khezu.
Is it a bug or a feature?
Asriel Dreemurr Where did you see that happen?
Rumor has it…that pitfall trap is still there waiting to be used…
The Monster Hunter World is strong in this one!
I always did like this opening better compared to the one the west got. It's just so good, one of the best intro's I've seen.
Seeing these trailers had me hype for the game even though it was my first monster hunter game still playing it till this day :D
Everyone here is just like "Where is MHX goddammit?!", but every true fan knows it will come to US and Europe anyway, it was the same with MH4U, so calm down guys and get to HR999 in 4U...
smart man
Yep, HR999 at which point everyone will call us CQ-playing hackers. :(
Lythiaren its not even the best way to rank up iirc... i think the dual gold rajang on the ingle isle quest rewards you with much more HR points than CQs ^^
Hydrotrex I take it you've never seen the gathering CQ that gives enough HR points to rocket you to 999?
Lythiaren are they cheated quests?
We just need Capcom to make a movie like that.
I think this might've been the most badass mh video. That or the one where they fight the Kushala Daora
This is an incredible short animation.
I love this game
I now remember why I hate sand.
AGH IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY O WATCH THIS AGAINNNNN
I love watching these. It’s like watching a movie
I love this video ´cause it shows Hunters normal day please make more stuff like thid in the next MH
Happy Birthday MH4U!
#MHXfortheWest
if they failed this hunt they may have invented bloodbath diablos
is a Honor to play this game /.^
2018 here. Everything in this clip is basically a preview of MHW down to the dual blade attack.
basically: MHW turf wars
Capcom we need a switch port!
I have logged in more than 500+ hours thanks alot
its like watching a movie lol got to love the monster hunter trailers =]

MHX for Europe please!!!!
Worldwide. It only takes a few more characters or alternatively roll with the "West".
Would hate for anyone to miss out.
+thelastgogeta Yeah especialy after MH4U was such a big hit around the world.
+Peter Almassy mh4u was sold 3 times more than mh3u so I think we have a good Chance ^^
+Peter Almassy One year after the release of Monster Hunter X Ultimate in Japan
+bitleman1 it's most likely gonna come out 2017 since monster hunter x ultimate or whatever they are gonna call it is gonna come out this year
If only monster hunter could have these graphics.
Just imagine if Capcom released a game that looked like this on PS4 O.o
Josh Dillon it happened
As to quote TFS "I CAN SEE THE FUTURE"
Capcom, why is there NOT a movie for Monster Hunter yet? Do you know how amazing it would sell? It would be beautiful.
+Day Kyotsu What would be the story?
They were probably like "God damnit, Seregios invaded our quest AGAIN?!"
Still waiting for Monster Hunter X in the west, or Monster Hunter X Ultimate.
+Gustavo Calderon I would just like a translated MHX no need for mhxu for me!
So that hammerhead monster saved Diablos from falling into a trap. Then it looks like that hammer head brought an extra friend along to help diablos fight the hunters. Clever girl.
i think Monster Hunter should make a movie.. or anime.. lots of people would love to see it...
be careful what you wish for.....
This video shows exactly what the unstable environment does

Mh cg is always amazing
I always hated the way Seregios looks in this cinematic, like he's made of wax.
would love a anime series
Seems like a good time to announce MHXG/U.
If only Monster Hunter World maps were this open
seregios is the monster hunter 4 ultimate flagship
can't wait for mhx to come to the US I already imported my tho n it awesome
imagine this as gameplay on Xbox one and PS4
PC and PS4*
MHF didn't really get good sales in Japan on the Xbox 360.
Ali Hassan hey...hey buddy...guess what..
Properly Diced Onyon Underrated reply ;)
Yes hello from the future
In the end they survived and tamed the Blos and Reggie
that would be a cool movie
Capcom pls collaborate with disney and make a light saber long sword for mhx
with the signature lightsaber sounds lol
Well they can also add two short blade lightsabers as DBs, Mauls dual as IG, Ren's as SnS.
maybe after these videos there will be someone saying something about mhx (I CAN DREAM DAMMIT)
TURF WAR!!! (Seregios vs Diablos)
the monsters have more table-manners than the human in monster hunter. (ettiquette or however you spell it) the humans just gobbles on shit like it's their last meal ever.
1 year later. . . .still no MH DoubleX
Just realized this is the dunes map
best game yet
awesome
This animation is why I hope they bring the mmo to the west

+the bonesauce Does the game still hide behind a paywall that restricts your quests and leveling up (MH should'nt have that btw) for one day?
+DJ Weapon MHO is a discrace. I've played it and it's TERRIBLE.
Corporal Porpoise Can you give examples?
The entire thing lags massively. Also, what you said about leveling up- yeah, incredibly boring and repetitive. There's a meme that's been floating around for a while:

Yeah. Online's about an hour and a half before you need real money to get back to fight.
#MHXforTheWest ... please?
Don't you just love triple monster hunts lol when they all appear in 1 area and start fucking you up
I want 8 monster hunts in 1 area.
all of the monsters are regular tigrex's, but frenzied.
Ready Huntah?
SEREGIOS MY FAVOURITE
why do they keep showing this video's again. But happy bday mh4u it's my birthday too so it's happy to see this my favorite game until mhx
I like this intro more than the MH4U intro
love
Holy shit that's cool
Great opening, but we have been teased enough.
Lost Planet has E.X. Troopers which needs to be localised. Monster Hunter has X, Stories, Diary DX, Online and Frontier.
Stop stalling.
For gods sake capcom, everyone is asking for cross so just give it to them!
2:50 fore shadowing Aerial Style
I like Nachos ikr
I just noticed something... Does that Gunner use a fucking Bow with a CHAIN BOWSTRING? Like.... HOW???
Time for MHX in Europe now? :3
а что случилось? видео уже сто лет! зачем постить его заного?
Love ya Capcom #MHXForTheWest
I thought mh4u can be played on ppsspp
I want that charge blade real bad... its feels good to do a combo with that
Welp, getting Rathalos GS is also satisfied enough

I suppose a MH licensed movie / animation is expected since we already have the Gyakuten Saiban movie and in April the TV anime.
what I never heard that
be careful what you wish for. We're getting an MH movie, but we already know that it's going to a be a franchise-staining train wreck.
The Mighty Pickle Rex we're getting a movie?? O.O
Will they make two openings in MHGen/MHX?
are you trying to prep for an X announcement or something? I needs me more MH.
They posted the intros 'cause MH4U was released a year ago
I know, just wishful thinking.
Give us Cross nao! TwT
3:39
When's X?
why you don't open Monster Hunter 3Tri servers?!?!
the guy use lance is bald right? but why when he wear helmet he got a hair? 😕😕😕😕😕

+Orion Pax
What about Crimson Fatalis?
+Orion Pax what about shagaru magala?
were's mhx
Why isn't this opening in the final game? 😭😭😭
It is ^^"
It is an introduction cinematic for the second part of the game, the "G rank extension" added with MH4G.
+Rei Ayanami im from The U.S and it starts with the other opening, not this one XD
+R In the house tis in the gallery mate.
Yes it starts wth the other opening. This one is received when you reach the "Monster Hunter 4 G" scenario.
i am rank G ind i dont have it :'c
How do I watch it in-game?
