+Dave Glo In San Francisco, about 9 years ago, I saw Racette sing all three operas in "Trittico." I wish I could say you didn't miss anything, but she was astounding. Souer Angelica tore everyone apart so much that we NEEDED her to come out in "Gianni Schicchi" in a big silly pink dress and play a comic daddy's girl.
Her final scene of Suor Angelica makes me cry every single time. She’s up there with Scotto and Stratas and Soviero and all the great Angelica’s of the past 50 years
