I can't comprehend how you could come to such a conclusion. With whose interpretation were you comparing her in the back of your mind? However, assuming hypothetically that you were right, this might even have a certain justification in that Delilah is quite an opaque character. In the context of the overall plot, her love song is of course pure deception. One may ask whether she is really nothing but a loyal priestess of Dagon, or whether she doesn't feel a certain attraction, after all, to this extraordinarily sexy man which she has to suppress, perhaps with considerable difficulty. One would have to speak with women who have been in a similar - certainly not enviable - conundrum.
