Nazism is specifically taboo because of the outright hatred and actions it professed upon others. It was a clear signal from God that the direction the world was going since the Industrial Revolution would lead to what the Nazis were, now imagine if all nations were as hate-filled, as spiteful, and as militant as the Nazis were. There would be no peace. Of course, the world didn’t get the message and went into another wrong direction after WW2, one which could be argued would be even worse than what the Nazis did.

The 50s was an age of optimism and pride, humanity finally seemed to be getting better for once in its existence. Also because the Nazi regime was truly nightmarish.
