I thought this was a 2 year old post, so I missed it. I read the text, of a follow up. Today I clicked on this and was surprised to see an entire album. It was early, wife was still asleep, or so I thought. She was listening. I went in to get some socks, woke her up (so I thought) and she got up and stormed out the door, upset, late for her job. 'What was that?' she scorned. 'Who?!' Leon, I replied. 'Who?' she scorned, so I pulled up your channel... That guy. Slam, door shuts and she leaves. I was blown away, speechless. I didn't know what to comment, that's rare for me. I liked it a lot. It made me want to jam. And so the entire time she was gone, I jammed. She comes home, and I had today's jam playing on the TV, so I can preview the song, and see if it sounds brittle and nasty. Who's that? Me, I said. That's when she started in about this morning... Her opinion of your music was glowing. It was heavy without being too heavy, she said. It sounded like it was done in the 80s. Two years ago, I replied. It has this certain something she enjoyed, a modern sound (great delays) while not sounding like all the other crap we've had to endure for years between 1991-2018. 27 years of monotonous screaming. She noticed the singing. There's singing, she exclaimed, almost shocked. She tries to talk about the music, but she's not a musician, so she asked if we could listen to it again, so she can find the parts she likes and show them to me. This is coming from a girl who likes the love stories on the Hallmark channel, ghost stories, and cooking shows. I said, I think I know what gear he used... I think I have the same stuff. But I sound terrible! Well, I went in to work on that. The album inspired me, and it impressed her, and we get to listen to it together, which is a compliment of monumental proportions. Sparked something in both of us. Had an impact. The bands wails. Your next effort is going to be huge. Great work Leon. Thank you for sharing the entire album... Will certainly be buying it.
I'm glad you shamelessly plugged your band on another vid. I never would've found it otherwise. This is good stuff👍 Blows away anything new they play on my local "used to be heavy" station in Minneapolis.
Hey Leon, fantastic album! Curt here again and still working on listening to all of your channel and watched your video about so many guitars and seen you had this out. Dude it rocks hard, has tons of feeling and I don't think I've heard an album with song after song that kicks ass like this since the 80's. Those delays remind me of flock of seagulls or U2 and chorus too but both subtle in the background adding so much. Nice! You guys have a great band and all very talented. Rock on, and I see big things in your future! Your channel will grow huge I'm sure!
I'll be honest - I was expecting more of an Audioslave sort of vibe mixed with some slightly heavier stuff when I saw the post. The look of surprise that fell on my face when a heavier and ballsy style of music dropped was definitely worth it. I could almost hear an Alter Bridge mixed with Sick Puppies influence coupled with no frills or fooling around. Just pure attitude. I haven't finished listening the album yet but it's a very organic and passionate outing that makes you want to jam and enjoy the good times. I'm glad I found out about your content - otherwise I'd be sleeping on this great band. Much respect and wishing you the best, Leon.
So glad you're digging it mate, it was a lot of fun making that album. Some of our earlier stuff leans towards the Audioslave/RATM riffy kind of thing but we've gradually gotten chunkier with each release. The next one is shaping up to be even heavier.
Rewind your mind.. Sounds like its taken right out from Army Of Anyones album. Your vocalist sounds exactly as Richard Patrick in this one. Came here after watching Leon Todd reviewing Fractal FM3 and I thought the sound clips sounded interesting. The album is stellar! Cheers from Sweden :)

Thanks mate! Recording this actually made me want to go down the Axe-Fx route so I could recreate it live. It's mostly my old Recto boosted with a klone quad tracked with either a Marshall DSL, Splawn Nitro or Jet City 50H. Lots of Eventide H9 for the shimmer and trem effects throughout!

That album is a gem, one of my faves - some of RP's best vocals and Ray Luzier kills on drums
