    I taught for 20+ years in a PC lab. Once retired when it was time to replace the home PCs, I purchased a MacBook Pro and I'm definitely an Apple gal, because I also have the iPad Pro and iPhone. I still have a Dell laptop in my craft room and its only purpose is for DS and connect to the Maker.

      @@denisetebbs2742 The iPad is a tablet and is more like a large iPhone. The MacBook is a laptop computer. I occasionally use DesignSpace on the iPad, but I find it cumbersome and there are also things you can't do on the iPhone/iPad that you can do on a computer or laptop.

    In the 80's my first computer was a Commodore 64 that I got from Radio Shack. It was before CD Roms came out, and everything was done using Cassette Tapes, and a Cassette Tape Player/Recorder. Each program came in Binders with about 8 Cassettes you had to load before anything appeared on the screen.

I did it because i couldnt get my mug press to start. Lol. I was like… seriously with everything we have i cant do this?? I so badly want one of the glow forges. I'm glad I can return. Will return. I'm looking at same brand of PC and lots of bad review. No Idea what I'm going to do. I think a smaller laptop with better graphic and touch screen. Then Can keep PC to cut and delete everything else from it.

    Hi Jennifer, I have almost the exact laptop and after you get it setup, it starts up super fast. One of the first things I did was take it out of S-mode. I bought it to use at work but I switched jobs so I don't need it there so now I'm going to use it with my laser engraver and my Cricut Explore Air 2 (sadly I have had this for almost a year and still haven't gotten it out of the box, but I have downloaded some projects and have next week off so hopefully I won't have too much problems).

    I am so upset. Using my mom's brand new hp computer and followed your instructions to the letter. Now it does not work at all! How do I move from complete blue screen now. So disappointed with the results from your video. It's in some mode beginning with A...so any assistance for me?😢

    • @JenniferMaker
      @JenniferMaker  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm really sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your mom's new HP computer. It sounds like the computer might be in "Advanced Startup" mode or "Automatic Repair" mode, which can happen if Windows encounters a problem.
      Here are some steps you can try to resolve the blue screen issue or you can contact HP Support:
      Restart the Computer: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve the issue. Press and hold the power button until the computer turns off, then press the power button again to turn it back on.
      Use Advanced Startup Options:
      If the computer is in Advanced Startup mode, you should see options like "Continue," "Troubleshoot," and "Turn off your PC."
      Select "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "Startup Repair." This can help fix issues that are preventing Windows from starting correctly.
      Safe Mode:
      If the above doesn't work, try booting into Safe Mode. From the Advanced Startup options, select "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "Startup Settings" > "Restart."
      After the computer restarts, you'll see a list of options. Press F4 to start in Safe Mode.
      System Restore:
      If you have a restore point set up, you can try restoring the system to a previous state. Go to "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "System Restore" and follow the prompt.
      Ensure all cables and connections are secure. Sometimes, a loose connection can cause startup issues.
      If none of these steps work, you might need to contact HP support for further assistance.

    I'm sorry to say that I printed your book, but I cannot read it. What should I do?

    • @JenniferMaker
      @JenniferMaker  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      PRINTING THE FILE:
      If you want to print your digital guide at home, please print from the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software linked above, not from your browser, to ensure you get the highest quality print with all pages and images present.
      If you have issues printing your e-book, here are some tips:
      * Print from a desktop or laptop if possible, as other devices are known to have printing issues
      * Decide what pages/sections you want to print before starting as you may not need to print the entire book
      * Always print a test page before printing the entire section
      * If you are concerned about ink usage, you can print in grayscale (look for an option in your Print dialog box for grayscale or black and white) or click on your Printer settings and change your quality to “draft” and this will save ink. Do a test page first.
      * If your print looks blurry, click on your printer settings and make sure your quality settings are set to "Normal" or "Best" for the highest-resolution print
      * If you would like a copy shop like Office Depot or Staples to print the book for you, you can upload the PDF to their website and tell them what pages to print! A Print Release form is at the back of the file if it is requested.
