Would be fun to see Max try and speedrun a way bigger version of this grid, maybe AL teams for the rows and NL teams for the columns, 15x15. Dude is a machine
There are those trivia shows where the contestants have to fight against a trivia boss. They could do that with max being the boss they have to challenge.
Loving this series. I would have thought that the Dodgers and Mets could have been switched on the axis so that a box was dedicated to both teams in a city...like the Chi/WSox box.
Two I kept thinking of were Mark Teixeira for Yanks-Angels and Alfonso Soriano for Yanks-Cubs. Saw Tex with the Angels vs the Yankees in 08, and the very next year he was in pinstripes. Looking at his Ref page, I didn’t realize he only spent 54 games with the Angels, so no wonder people don’t remember him as an Angel.
Maybe an iconic World Series Matchup. Twins-Diamondbacks-Red Sox along the top and Braves-Yankees-Cardinals down the side. Could go for expansion era pairs Rays-Rangers-Rockies Diamondbacks-Angels-Marlins
From left to right, then down a row: Nick madrigal, Aj pollock, Adam Eaton, Antony rizzo, Andrew Heaney, mark texiera, Marcus stroman, max scherzer, Aaron loup
My Random Answers Cubs/Sox- Craig Kimbrel Cubs/Yanks- Starlin Castro Cubs/Mets- Marcus Stroman Dodgers/Sox- Scott Podsednik Dodgers/Yanks- Rickey Henderson Dodgers/Mets- Max Scherzer Angels/Sox- Bo Jackson Angels/Yanks- Reggie Jackson Angels/Mets- Nolan Ryan
The frustrating thing about Cannobio missing the Cubs/Sox square isn't that he couldn't think of one; it's that he kept guessing A.J. Pierzynski, and Cubs fans HATE Pierzynski
Welington Castillo - Tommy Kahnle - Gordon Beckham Anthony Rizzo - Joey Gallo - Raul Ibanez Javier Baez - Max Scherzer - Aaron Loup I love playing this game. I come up with the most random players that I have no idea how I knew they played for that team.
Sort of a cheat code for this when time is out and you're stuck on a couple is to throw out some guys who played for a million teams like Octavio Dotel or Edwin Jackson. For me Rickey's 32 games in Anaheim saved my ass at the last second, I knew he was a Yankee and played all over at the end of his career. 9/9! Quintana-Kelly-Eaton Robertson-Gallo-Rickey Almora-Scherzer-Colon
I love these challenges and I love to play along. The only one that stumped me is White Sox and Angels. Top row Kimbrel, pollock, Middle row Chapman, Heaney, Tyler Wade Bottom row Baez, Scherzer, Nolan Ryan
At first I was so confused why jomboy got so many so fast and then I realized he was doing all Yankees and that as a reds fan I could immediately name a reds player for all these scenarios. Suddenly it all made sense
A bit confused as to why the grid was laid out the way it was, surely the Mets and Angels could have been switched so that it was 1 team from each per row and column?
I would love to see this with defunct teams... Expos of course, but there are other old teams... Question is, do they know anybody on the Cleveland Spiders or the Boston Beaneaters?
Got all 9, but can barely do active players lol. I went with this. Cubs/Sox: Jose Quintana Cubs/Yankees: Anthony Rizzo Cubs/Mets: Ronny Cedeno (impressive) Dodgers/Sox: Yasmani Grandal Dodgers/Yankees: Ricky Henderson Dodgers/Mets: Curtis Granderson Angels/Sox: Jon Garland Angels/Yankees: Bobby Abreu Angels/Mets: Francisco Rodriguez
Left to right, top to bottom: Jose Quintana AJ Pollock Ryan Tepera Scott Effross Tommy Kahnle Andrew Heaney Jake Marisnick Justin Turner Noah Syndergaard
I and shocked no one said Ricky Henderson (Yankees, Mets, Angels, Dodges) or Robin Ventura (Yankees, Mets, Dodgers, White Sox). Here is my list of other players: Cubs/White Sox: Sammy Sosa Cubs/Yankees: Alfonso Soriano Cubs/Mets: Matt Franco Dodgers/Yankees: Kevin Brown Dodgers/Mets: Paul Lo Ducs & Mo Vaughn, Shawn Greene Dodgers/White Sox: Robin Ventura Angels:White Sox: Darin Erstad Angels/ Mets: KRod Angels/ Yankees: Ricky Henderson, Dave Winfield, Reggie Jackson

Yankees/ Cubs: Anthony Rizzo Yankees/ Dodgers: Russell Martin Yankees/ Angels: not really sure, Tyler Wade? Mets/ Cubs: Cliff Floyd Mets/Dodgers: Max Scherzer Mets/Angels: Gary Matthews Jr
As a Korean American immigrant Chan Ho Park is the first player that I think of for a player that played for the Yankees and the Dodgers. BTW you should have put one of each city on each side instead of putting dodgers and angels on the same side. Anyways let me try and fill this first grid.sox cubs quintana sox dodgers trayce thompson sox angels jon garland. yankees cubs alfonso soriano yankees dodgers already stated above yankees angels mark texiera mets cubs moises alou mets dodgers max scherzer mets angels noah (thor)
Max is a human cheat code. Not only did he name people in less than a minute, he did it with the most RANDOM people.
Georgia Bulldogs legend Gordon Beckham
Justin Wilson lol
What’s sad is that I got Gordon Beckham as one of my first guesses….I did not fill out the grid. And I do not remember colon on the white Sox.
@@christopherkaster3732 all of those names makes me wonder how his brain works 😂 such abstract and random names from baseball past
2nd place was no slouch, at 2:04.
I feel like 2:04 would be Top Two in every single game of this, so GG dude.
I hope Passan is invited to play one of these timed games. Jeff can feel all smug about it until Max comes in and just obliterates his time.
I have a friend who works at MLB Network and I feel she has what it takes to beat Max’s times
when jeff smoked max in the most recent one haha
Would be fun to see Max try and speedrun a way bigger version of this grid, maybe AL teams for the rows and NL teams for the columns, 15x15. Dude is a machine
I was screaming Mike Piazza for the entire 9 minute run time 😂
Same
This is even funnier that Max went with the guy that took over for Piazza on both teams after Piazza left
I was screaming Sammy sosa the whole time
@@OJ-1Kenobi YES! Omg I couldn't believe Cannobio got Steve Trachsel but not Sammy freaking Sosa!!!
I was screaming Reggie Jackson for Angels/Yankees
This series is so much fun. Well done Jolly!
Max is insane dude
Max needs to be the final boss in all of these
There are those trivia shows where the contestants have to fight against a trivia boss. They could do that with max being the boss they have to challenge.
Surprised no one said Sammy Sosa for Sox/Cubs
No one ever remembers Slammy on the Sox
as a white sox fan i just went with random sox players for all 3 and went with neal cotts
Or Ron Santo, Fukudome, Samardzija, or Soto
I’m surprised that no one went with the Nolan Express for Mets-Angels.
White Sox and Angels totally tripped me up, loving the Juan lagares shoutout Max lol
I thought of Orlando Cabrera and Jon Garland off the top of my head.
Took me so long but eventually got Ryan Tepera.
Yankees Cubs and White Sox Dodgers was the hardest for me
I had Paul Konerko, John Garland, and Bobby Jenks.
Bartolo Colon was instant for me.
Darin Erstad popped into my head for Angels/White Sox.
Loving this series. I would have thought that the Dodgers and Mets could have been switched on the axis so that a box was dedicated to both teams in a city...like the Chi/WSox box.
I was thinking that too but there have already been a couple with Yankees/Mets so he probably did this for variety
“What is this time bro??” got me so good lmaooo
I can hear it in Joez voice so clearly too lol
Max pulling names outta nowhere. He could say random names and I would still believe he's right.
Manny Ramirez in an A's cap threw me lol
Love the series, great stuff Jolly! Would love a Max and BBD Highlight real eventually lol
Maybe an iconic World Series Matchup. Twins-Diamondbacks-Red Sox along the top and Braves-Yankees-Cardinals down the side.

"the god damn scrap heap that is the angels" lmaoooo Jake
Haters gonna hate
Welington Castillo - Tommy Kahnle - Gordon Beckham
Anthony Rizzo - Joey Gallo - Raul Ibanez
Javier Baez - Max Scherzer - Aaron Loup
I love playing this game. I come up with the most random players that I have no idea how I knew they played for that team.
Gotta do central. Cleveland has been the minor leagues for both the east coast and west coast teams
Thank you for including some "flyover" teams!!!
Sort of a cheat code for this when time is out and you're stuck on a couple is to throw out some guys who played for a million teams like Octavio Dotel or Edwin Jackson. Angels white Sox really got me. I’ve been studying too to try to get these when I’m bored at work
Need a Max vs. Rosey and other baseball minds series
Shoutout to the last guy for saying Starlin Castro. He's my favorite player and I didn't even think of him
Max Scherzer is one of my all time favorite players and he didn't even cross my mind for Mets Dodgers
Waiting for the Missouri MLB teams turn in this and refguess
Scott Podsednick was a crazy pull
Angles and White Sox was the one that got me, also for some reason Billy McKinney was my Met/Dodger (shoutout 2021 Mets)
I want someone to love me the way Dan loves Ken Caminiti
At first I was so confused why jomboy got so many so fast and then I realized he was doing all Yankees and that as a reds fan I could immediately name a reds player for all these scenarios. Suddenly it all made sense
As a Tigers fan I could name ex Tigers for at least most of these too
Some weird most random names too like Brennan Boesch for Yankees/Angels
A bit confused as to why the grid was laid out the way it was, surely the Mets and Angels could have been switched so that it was 1 team from each per row and column?
Was waiting on Scotty Effross for cubs yankees lol. Also Max never fails to blow my mind
I would love to see this with defunct teams... Expos of course, but there are other old teams... Question is, do they know anybody on the Cleveland Spiders or the Boston Beaneaters?
Max is an animal/robot at this stuff, what a mind on the young lad!!!
Do rivalries next (Giants/Dodgers, Braves/Mets, Mets/Yanks, etc.)
Bartolo fills out a whole row himself
So we are gonna need a can you beat Max game on here soon.
They might need to do Office vs. Max for that to be fair
Got all 9, but can barely do active players lol. I went with this.

The first name that popped into my head for Cubs-White Sox was Juan Pierre for some reason.
Love this game.
Daily content for ball is amazing love it all
Sammy sosa was a good cubs white sox one. K Rod would’ve been Angels Mets. Tommy John Yankees dodgers
Marcus Stroman cubs and Mets
Could've put Bartolo for half of these lol
As soon as I saw Cubs/White Sox, I thought Slammin' Sammy Sosa... and then couldn't think of anyone for the other 8.
These are great!
Max is crazy! Paul Lo Duca! Gordon Beckham! He was firing em off
I was hoping someone was going to say Sammy Sosa for Cubs/Sox
I thought the same, he's the only cubs/white sox player I can think of lol
I love how some of the player's hat are unrelated with the connect teams.
what in the world Max
Need you to come back to the office and challenge me Foolish
Adam Eaton or Jon Garland for Angels/White Sox 👍
Angels relief pitcher from Mets I think they were thinking was Aaron Loup
more of these please
How no one got Sammy Sosa for White Sox/Cubs is beyond me!! ChiSox fans were complaining about trading him for years!,
Top: Ron Santo, Dick Allen, Bo Jackson. Middle: Bobby Bonds, Tommy John, Chad Curtis. Bottom: Howard Johnson, Darryl Strawberry, Mo Vaughn. Bam!
Would there be enough players across different sports (NFL, MLB, NBA, etc.) to do this with wider leagues instead of teams?

I wonder if anyone here remembers that Sosa was on both Chicago teams.
Bo may know but nobody else seems to remember Bo played for the Sox and Angels.
Every time I see Max I enjoy it
There should be one for the old NL Central: Astros, Reds, Cardinals, Brewers, Pirates, Cubs
Bro how did no one go with the DARK KNIGHT MATT HARVEY for Mets Angels
Ryan Tepera fit into a few of these and wasn't named once 😔
Let’s see what I got
