If you couldn’t tell by the end of “The Kids” episode, Gumball and Darwin’s voiced changed and sound younger. That’s mainly because the voice actors for both of them were getting too old to voice them, so the show runners replaced them with younger actors with young sounding voices.
It's exactly the same scenario where the voice actor for Lincoln Loud from The Loud House changes as the show goes on!
@@RainbowGirl15706Those are the reasons why studios mainly hires women to the voice actors to voice children In animation. Their talent of sounding childlike without aging for decades is incredible. No need to worry about replacing!

Kids episode is where the voices of Darwin and Gumball
We now enter the start of Jacob Hopkins Gumball, who is considered to be the best out of all of gumballs voice actors
He’s great as Gumball and making him be really convincing with the sarcasm of the character, that’s funny.
That’s just because they like the seasons better

The first voice actors of Gumball and Darwin hit puberty, especially Gumball at this point of. And, the episode ‘reset’ is brilliant way to deal with the voice changes, make of it and by the end replace the voice actors!
Anais crying in the corner is a reference to the witch in Left 4 Dead. Its such a clever reference.
I actually like Sarah' song. It's catchy doesn't matter how creepy is it.

Okay, believe it or not, but during the time I was 14 and 15, I could do the most _perfect_ voice impression of Gumball's squeaky puberty voice before my own voice dropped down one or two octaves to where it is now.
I know that's pretty random, but I still wanted to share that, regardless.
To this day, I love how the infected Gumball kicks Banana Joe away just so he could have Penny to himself.
I also love how Sussie is more or less the same when she's infected.
I love how in Season 3 the original voice actors would get replaced by new ones to voice gumball and Darwin Jacob Hopkins and Terrell ransom. It’ll be cool if they kept did their roles for both gumball and Darwin to sound older in the later seasons but this is probably one of the best voices of gumball.

The Kids was the transitional episode for Gumball and Darwin's VA's!

I'm pretty sure the reset thing is a joke about how in the end of every episode every damage and death gets reset cuz the next episode dead people are suddenly alive so when they wished everything would reset the episode ended meaning in the next episode all the damage would be reset

Alrighty one of my FAVORITE episodes in this Season
The Kids and The Joy are my favorites. I also still like Sarah's song even though it was creepy.
My favorite season of the entire show! You can really tell that the show found its identity! Gumball is a kid with sarcasm and Darwin his innocent goofball that follows his brother. The Characters personalities are established. The animation is incredible. Obviously a higher budget and better quality photos thats mapped flawlessly in a 3D space. It feels alive!

Even though I like every episode of the amazing world of gumball, but I enjoyed the joy episode. It’s pretty much one of my favorite. Especially the ending where it finishes off with Principal Brown fooling around with the broom which is so hilarious
