1. Depending the graphic card you use, you may encounter a atiumdag.dll error when launching your Ragexe.
👉You can easily fix by rename the file dbghelp.dll to dbghelp_old.dll

Need help. I've followed the steps carefully but once launched the client is still in Korean. Also after I choose Smooth: rAthena the game shuts down. Any tips on what I've missed?
This usually happens when your windows system is not English, due to encoding issue. The way to fix this would be to create your custom GRF, and link at the top of your data.ini.
Perhaps could be missing the translation files as well. 1 out of 100 people cant make it work due to something missing.

There is a chance anti-virus or firewall is blocking it. Just enter my discord, we deal with this kinda issue quite often and most people get it fixed.

Hi, here is the sequence of my next tutorials, How to setup 2023 renewal server using latest working Ragexe, finish all the (5 remaining Browedit 3 tutorial within 2 weeks), Than I can make on how to add items, monsters, maps, I also want to create a tutorial on how to create 3D models for Ragnarok and animate it as well. How to add skymap and a few more 😁. I'm sorry about making it online, I have never tried, maybe one day when I reach 5k subs I can spend some cash for that matter. Cheers 🍻

Hi welcome, there are few well know stable ragexe, I like 2018 and 2022, but for this pre-re I like 2018 better, you can experiment 2020 if you like 😉

Welcome, I never tried newer clients, for that you need to download more updated version of Nemo to diff.

You can either use Nemo or Warp to diff the ragexe, there is a diff for the font size.

Preferable to rent a host than use your own network to host, for safety.
The server in this video is only localhost. this mean only the installed machine can log-in.

@@daniel_druziki Yeah, you was absolutely right! It's all working now. There are still a few oddities. Like "why the map remains the reneval version" or "why I can't change langtype to anything other than 0". Otherwise everything works fine, thanks!

everytime you touch src folder, you need to open visual studio and recompile, just like you compile for the first time but can pick recompile
Can I build the sln on Linux then move it to windows ?
Yes and No, you need to clean solution. Before move from Linux to Windows clean solution (recompile in windows with visual studio), and vise versa.

I think you can try to not use the translation files I show in the video as the kRO is already in Korean. 🤔 But for npcs I'm not sure as it is in English.

It's possible, you can read rathena forum, need to connect with a host to have multiple players 😉, That's not my area so I can't help with online set up.

@@daniel_druziki I have gone through everything again and found nothing different. The only difference I noticed was that the kRO client version in the video is a different one from the description download. Could there be some additional file in there that overwrites the translation? Or Could I just delete or rename a file to remove the korean. I just dont know which one.
@@user-qe5fp9tf1m I suggest you enter the discord group, however, there is a chance some windows languages have different encoding, such as Russian, Korean, German and a few other. Resulting in issue when reading Data folder. However I suggest you join Discord. Will be easier to check what is going on there. My kRO is exacly the same as the youtube description shows. I'm running my own online server without any issues.
