Join me in this first video in a series of hunts as I explore a mid-late 1800s homesite. The home burned down in the mid-19th century, leaving behind a legacy of relics to be recovered to try and piece together the story of the inhabitants of this home. I had a great time on this hunt and will return to this site as often as possible. Enjoy the video!
Let’s go let’s go treasure and adventure ❤️🎉🇺🇸✌️🌎🌺👵
@@grandmakellymcdonald Hi Grandma Kelly! I hope you’re doing well!
Awesome button and other finds!
I appreciate you watching, I had a good time there and I’m hoping to go back soon.
Those are some pretty cool finds! I like that old iron
I love that iron too! I wish the handle would have been there but I'll take it. Sometimes the iron finds can be really cool. Thanks for watching!
Awesome finds!!
@@jackijax505 thank you so much for watching!
That is a great site, I use it all the time to get a date on a site. If you figure out what the piece is let us know. I have been working hard restoring my iron. Can't wait to see more of that field. Thanks for sharing.
@@DetectDigSmile yes! I love cartridge corner. The head stamp I dug was a Winchester New Rival, the date range is 1897-1929. If I knew what the paper color was it could be narrowed further. That field will be an ongoing hunt for sure. I will cover one side for now, can’t wait till fall after it’s harvested then I’ll be able to walk deeper into the field. Thanks for watching!
