What a find this is! Famous ensembles have often played this last quartet with false solemnity and yet others have rushed it. This ensemble follows what Mozart set down yet there is something VERY special going on in how the musicians give proper air to quite a stressed piece. The interaction between parts and the bowing needed to make this perfect can be found in this performance -- head and shoulders above any I have heard in 70 years.

Wonderful performance! Full of joy and the love of life. Great communication among the musicians. You can see Mozart smiling at the fine cello part, thinking, “The King will enjoy playing this, so I will give him a little something special.”

I've listened to all the quartets from no 12 to no 22, but this is the first time I hear this one. The finale is specially exciting among finales, a fitting finale to Mozart's String Quartets.
I HAVE LISTENED TO AL 23 QUARTETS THE LAST 3 PLUS WEEKS....GREAT CYCLE...U CAN HEAR MOZARTS COMPOSTIONAL TECHNIQUE IMPROVE THRU THE WORKS

I was not familiar with the Schubert String Quartet before I saw this video. I hope I have an opportunity to hear them live. They are very good.

Que segundo movimiento aparentemente sencillo pero que profundidad de sentimiento , como también que nuevos horizontes de exploración en este último cuarteto . En fin excelente ejecución

Hi Mikerusli9660! Yes, you probably mean 25:01, where the three other members play a chord, waiting for violin 1 to turn her page. She is not a whole bar late, but doesn't make it completely on time either. 😉
