Tactile Gestures to rise and lower sound, a switch-on/off button to save the battery life, a REAL head case … they can do so much more than only giving us a usb-c port and new colours I’m so upset
I don't agree it needs a major update. Its mesh design is meant for comfort and not to be used outside since its design is not water/dust proof. Hence, no need for H2 chip if its meant to be at home (don't need Find My fully per se). Lossless makes you deaf because in order to hear anything, you'd have to raise the volume so high it can cause permanent hearing damage. Therefore, its a gimmickz. If you want over hear headphones you can take outside, they marketed the Beats pro as an option.
I have a pair of purple AirPods Max and I absolutely love them. I too was waiting for the AirPods Max 2 but we just got new colors and a usb c change. At this point it made no sense in waiting. And I really like the purple color (my favorite color)
How did you use the Sonos ace within the last few years 😂 they are only 5 months old. The AirPods Max while heavier than Sonos are not heavy on the head, they are just fine, the transparency mode on Sonos is on par with AirPods Max (i have them both) noise canceling is arguably a little better on the AirPods Max but not worth mentioning, the sound quality on airpods is a little better, but thats all. In the end i love them both the same, the only advantage the airpods have for me is the seamless connection between apple devices.
I have iphone 15 Pro Max and a Macbook Pro M1 and all my devices are USB-C except my AirPods Max(Blue) should i sell my current ones and gets over any other headphones like Sennheiser / Bose / Sony, I'm kinda confused to be honest...🤔
They removed the feature of using the cable that came for the original Lightning model. Why didn’t Apple include a USB C to USB C cable so we could enjoy lossless audio?
@@hodasamadi7903 What hearing loss? I would be using the headphones the same way but with a cable connecting directly to the iPhone. You still control the volume as if they were used without a cable. This feature came for the original AirPods Max to have the ability to use them with headphone jacks.
i do, i just carry a powerful charger and use it to charge my macbook, phone, ipad, and headphones. yea its annoying if they all die at once but as long as i space out the charging its pretty easy to manage.
Typical comment from TH-camrs and tech reviewers. Just because everything is now available with usb-c instead of lightning does not mean everyone is immediately dumping their older lightning connected gear, iPhone, AirPods, Aipods Pro and AirPods Max. Especially when we are talking about Apple products that are used for quite a long time comparatively. It will take years before lightning is phased out and can be completely forgotten.
There is only one thing that is really, really bad and that´s the headband. When the headband, because of the mesh, wears out it is extremly uncomfortable and there is no way to exchange it.
I had a pair for less than a month and sold them. Not comfortable at all. Ear and head fatigue makes them uncomfortable. Way too heavy. The design is terrible. Need to fold. Way too expensive. No on or off button. So many other over ear headphones are better.
I bought the original Airpods Max Pro. After a few months, they had connectivity problems. It would show as "connected" on my iPhone, but wouldn't play. Resetting didn't work. I sent them in for repair. Apple replaced one whole side free of charge. That worked for a month, then it happened again. By that time the warranty had expired. Now I have a $500 useless lump. It seems that Apple have not addressed this issue. It's extremely frustrating. Old chip, crap case, unreliable. Won't buy the USB-C version. If Apple don't put in any effort, I won't put in any money.
There is absolutely no difference whatsoever. Just a new USB-C charging port and new colours. Not even a new H2 Chip that’s just unacceptable. That’s it. Waste of money. Don’t bother buying them. Just get the 1st gen model on the cheap if you must have them. I’ll stick with my AirPods Pro 2
Bose and Sony have moved way ahead, I wanted to have a pair of these but they should have put the H2 chip in. Another way Apple are just fooling all the fan boys. inferior product these days but still folk buy them. Will stick with my Bose
AirPods Max (USB-C) sounds more like AirPods Pro 2, especially with the base. AirPods Max (2020) sounds more like AirPods Pro 1. The base on AirPods Max (USB-C) is much heavier and “bouncier” than the 2020 AirPods Max.
I agree but also beg to differ, it doesn’t need a case but it does need covers for the ears because mine are so scuffed and nicked from flying off during mma and kickboxing in the gym (which yes I know isn’t the most practical thing)
is it just me or is the audio crackling ever couple seconds?
No it is the mic
@@justushammerGC oh thanks i thought it was my headphone for a minute i didnt know it was his mic thanks for letting me know.
I thought I was the only one. Lmao
No I thought it was only me lmao
*what, not how
2:39 “not expensive” ridiculous thing to say 😂😂
I thought the same thing lol 😂
Agreed
Not expensive dude is seriously out of touch 😂
he wanted to say ´not cheap, but materials not cheap either’
otherwise the sentence makes no sense
If only apple would make a genuine V2 - Waterproofing, H3 Chip, lossless support etc
Tactile Gestures to rise and lower sound, a switch-on/off button to save the battery life, a REAL head case … they can do so much more than only giving us a usb-c port and new colours I’m so upset
They’d be 899.99
How do they compare with airpods pro 2, in terms of sound quality & spatial audio?
me hearing this on the exact same AirPods Max as you have, I love them!
*This is the longest sponsored video I’ve ever watched on TH-cam* 😅

just seems weird to pay the same price as the 4 year old Airpods Max despite no real internal upgrades
@@mayorsatire7376 I don't know but I bought mine gen 2 on sale from Bestbuy

so relaxinggg watching your vids amic meu!
I'll get mine on Christmas
Me too! I hope Santa doesn't run out of them
@@misstubbie1313same! I hope so too!
They do make a case for these that fully enclosed the headphones as well as the smart case as they have to stay in the case to go into deep rest mode.
I love this video so much and keep making make more
I don't understand why they didnt add the H2 chip on the "new" airpods max 🤦🏽♂. I like apple but man they really dropped the ball on these..
H1 / H2 don't add better sound lol. They add better and smart modes, but not better sound.
People don’t seem to understand this lol
Me literally watching with AirPod Max, love your videos!
Audio is pretty bad here. But you know I think you’re right. That was just an update, not a full upgrade on the APMs. At least I hope that’s the case.
Worth or wait till next ones come out?
wait
Worth. New ones aint coming maybe around a year or more

the seamless connection is a big one for me
Im only upgrading because of the orange that shii is so nice
Hola Niklas, a very good video. ¡Muchas gracias!
No one should buy these.. overpriced by 200-250 bucks easily
They’re on sale right now
I have iphone 15 Pro Max and a Macbook Pro M1 and all my devices are USB-C except my AirPods Max(Blue) should i sell my current ones and gets over any other headphones like Sennheiser / Bose / Sony, I'm kinda confused to be honest...🤔
Also these work great/better synced to an apple device as well as Dolby D laced tracks
how about the mic quality for online meeting? is that good in the crowded environment?
One of the biggest downsides of the usb c AirPods Max is that you cannot connect them using a cable like the Sonos Ace
They removed the feature of using the cable that came for the original Lightning model. Why didn’t Apple include a USB C to USB C cable so we could enjoy lossless audio?
You don't need it. It will cause hearing loss.

Am I the only one that is having issues with Siri and Announce Notifications when connected to the Type C AirPods Max?
if I ever catch these in the 300 range Brand new im in there
Who seriously charges every single item with one cord while traveling??? That’s sounds unreasonable.

So disappointed with such a lazy “update”. You guys, it’s the same headphones with a different port. That’s it
For that price tag they could gave them an IP rating. AirPods Pro 2 for me and better H2 chip technology.
Not expensive and reviewing the comfort of the headphones when not on one's head 😅

Apple replaced for a 100 bucks unfortunately 🤣

Jesus Christ is Lord, King and Our Savior!
No hes not
Bring H2 to the AirPods Max 😭😭
theres no way someone is gonna spend €600 just for the usb c or for a color.
Have you re read your title for this video?
Nobody’s all excited over the type of charging port. Stop it.
