A great man, and a great friend! I had the honor of being able to tour the basement myself in 2006. I even contributed two figures to his room. a 1/6 scale Spy Smasher figure, and a 1/6 Purple Monster figure! Both were a pleasure to make for Bob, and he so loved them! He loves all that stuff, and my heart goes out to him now, as he has become hard to reach since the passing of his beloved Kathy. I only wish the best for old Bob, and hope he is doing well. I miss that old guy! He was a hero of mine. He IS indeed a hero to us all, in finding and saving so many classic Hollywood props and memories! God bless you Bob!
He totally is! Thanks for all the badass love on the series :)
I stumbled upon this by accident, but I'm so glad I did. As a collector myself, I am truly blown away by this absolutely AMAZING collection! Most of it is way before my time, but the Alien heads and the T2 props were jaw dropping! His pride and enthusiasm in his collection is really nice to see as well. Hopefully the majority of this collection ends up in museums and not on Ebay when he passes.
This is one of the MOST Awesome collection I've seen.. It would be great if all these figures and horror/Sci Fi memorabilia could be displayed at larger museum in Hollywood, California.. Great collection,,
Bob is a treasure. Much like uncle FORREY and his collection and saving of history. He has preserved so much.
I can't imagine how amazing that must have been, especially to have Bob there to explain how he got the stuff, the people he's known, etc.
It was truly overwhelming. Every significant childhood movie memory was suddenly made tangible. I almost broke down and wept.
You could spend days looking at that stuff, awesome collection.
Could spend another several hours going through that movie history 👌
I would give almost anything to wander through there. So many amazing things and so much history in one place.
Our pleasure - thanks for taking it! And love your handle!
Bob's a national treasure, plain and simple. I gotta get my hands on that documentary about him and his wife.
Top collection. Most of the stuff is way before my time but historical very important. 1980's is my time The Fly' Gremlins' Predator ' Aliens etc. but if it wasn't for stuff like this the props i love would never have been made. I just hope this stuff doesn't end up in hands of private collectors when its sold so people can see it forever. 10/10
really amazing collection of film props!!!
It seems to admire the beautiful collection that belonged to Forrest J. Ackerman
There was a lot of giggle-weeping
If I ever got in that room, I'd probably just stand there and giggle and weep with joy for a few hours.
Incredible!
You're flying through it too fast!
way to fast
9 minutes ? they should make it an hour
thanks for the tour!
This is awesome, and was that an original Predator mask at 3:36 that was not mentioned!
Thanks for watching -- send it to your friends!
Yeah, Bob's one of a kind. Just chatting with him makes you a better person.
Outstanding discussion- what an honor to meet the legendary Bob Burns.
When he said his favorite Universal Horror film was... The Deadly Mantis! Oh man so funny.
Amazing collection😁
Amazing wow
Ahhh love it.
The V ship is amazing. I love to a decent priced visitor pistol. Bravestarr put out a replica that was orange in the 80s but its so hard to find
I thought I had a big collection wow I wana live in that room lol !❤️
You shoud do another movie about his Enemy Mine's Fyrine IV creatures prototypes ; it deserves to be showed !
and before it could be wasted since rubber doesn't keep good shape forever...
It was INCREDIBLE! What was your favorite prop from the episode?
Great video, and great content, bought my first prop in 2018 which were blades of grass from the set of the 2005 movie charlie and the chocolate factory which starred johnny deppp. Since then have aquired a few decent pieces like a piece of brass etching from the 2nd Death star, a piece from the original MK1 suit used in the production of the 2008 movie IRONMAN, and my most recent prop purchase was, the LOS DIABLOS vest/Jacket that Teach Grant wore when he played the character called Renny, from the tv series LUCIFER.
Bob seems like a character without equal
Would love to see some Psychomania props
the man doesn't even give a shit. I would be the happiest man on earth to own an alien head.
T 1,000 looks cool. Real
You should check out the x-files preservation collection museum that place is absolutely amazing
Is there any way of experiencing this in person? Can we go and see all of this?
is that the original stop motion puppet from terminator? I been looking for good picture of it online and on the rpf. If so can you show more of it please.
The big question I would've asked Bob is what was his biggest obsession to get and/or what is it he wish he had that's still out there somewhere?
This is insane. What a great collection but what happens when Bob Burns dies?
One day Don Coscarelli should donate Phantasm's Spacegates & a sphere to his collection :)
SOOOO SUBSCRIPING. Do you have any slasher movie eps?
Everything in his collection can be considered a hoily gail insane.
Devin looks like the American version of Chris Moyles lol.
I could only again the offers he must get to buy his stuff.
but dos he hav a tartis.
I thought Luke got his hand cut off by Darth Vader? They said it was the other way around.
That was The Empire Strikes Back. In Return of the Jedi, Luke returns the favour by cutting off Vader's hand.
Man I know it’s not about the money with bob burns but what’s all this stuff worth.
Can I have all your original movie props
James Rolfe would puke rainbows here :D
hahaha, Good one. James and Bob ina room talking about films would be epic.
OMG its Chris Moyles !
Invest in 'Real Assets'...!
Forget about Bonds & Shares....!
Whatever you do...dont show us the prop for longer for 2 seconds before you cut to the next shot! lol
Michael Jackson
