And yes I'm one to play music when coding but I feel like when it gets to hectic you don't need any distractions so yah I also cut everything off when it gets too real.
Maybe do a lifestyle video on what its like living in CPT, maybe do apartment hunting, tell us the benefits of living in different areas in CPT, price, whats close to the apartment etc

One thing that you once said stuck with me and I'll never forget it, someone asked about 'money in SWE' and you said "focus on the SKILL,and the money will take care of itself".... truly INSPIRATIONAL
Definitely, people switch the two things around which is wrong. To make a lot of money in dev you have to be skilled and once you are highly skilled the money will just come easily…

I would personally like to here your opinion on some of the things that are going on the tech space. Maybe a young 2 minute monologue of why you prefer MS SQL Server over MySQL, or maybe just talking about the chip in your Desktop or why you don't use a MacBook.
Simple stuff like that. Just a brief explanation of your opinion on certain things.
Here are some ideas:
1. Why I prefer MS SQL Server over MySQL?
2. Why I prefer Windows?
3. Why I game on PC instead of console?
4. Your preferred Cloud Service Provider.
etc...
Great suggestion, Will consider adding some of the stuff you mentioning but some of the things are out of my hands like the cloud provider I use is determined by the company, kind of laptop etc even to use MySql instead if MS SQL wasn’t my choice but I get you. Thank you for the suggestion

i personally think your content is quality, i regularly watch your videos and vlogs as often as they come out. in your previous vlog for a short while your driving POV was done over your shoulder which is a damn nice POV, also gives us a good look at the i30N, it is very immersive. personally that is what i enjoy from your vlogs !

You can also go to the carwash/Tshisanyama get some good shots there whilst ibhubesi is getting a nice bath, you can also hit eParkini in Khayelitsha on a sunny not windy Sunday (During the day), you can get some good shots there. Its not dangerous as you would expect, especially if you are with people who know their way around there.

Maybe for next videos, if you make notes and plan your tasks, take us through your thought process. Obviously it changes from time to time depending on what task and specific tech stack you’ll be using for that day. But thought would be insightful
Ideas Mr Buma. I really think you've got two kinds of audience in your channel, the one who were attracted by the cars you own and the ones who are more interested in the IT stuff. Vlogs just caught us along the way and we really do love them.
Point is, you have been feeding the IT audience with some content but there's really not much to shoot anymore regarding the i30N because you haven't been doing any mods and trips. I would love to suggest if possible you at least join a car community to feed us some feature content with u'Bubhesi and other cars. Maybe visit drag strips and just shoot if you are not comfortable with racing. A single event in two months seems doable 🙏

Unfortunately I cant do car reviews, I cant beg so some of these dealers/people want you to beg them like crazy to get something so I can’t. I’ve been trying to get cars from brands to do day in the life featuring e.g Ford Ranger. So basically I still do a day in the life while showcasing the Ford in the video on some specific sections in the video…unfortunately no brand has responded so 🤷🏾♂️

1. You can add a reviews session, where you review tech stuff, not necessarily gadgets only, general
tech stuff you like.
The goal would be to leave your viewers educated about something.
E.g. In one of the videos you shown us how you use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit, that was dope.
2. Secondly, show us the CODE chief, stop hiding it🤣 JOKES

@6:00 looks like you're slowly adopting dark mode, eventually all your IDE's gonna be dark. Big up
I always keep everything as it is. Visual Studio Code defaults to Dark Mode so I just leave it as same as Visual Studio IDE with its light mode.

Dev out a project with the tech stack you use on a daily, it can be something simple like a todo list and create an api out of that or use terraform for IAC on the free tier AWS account just so people understand what you mean when you saying you creating an API or working with Terraform...its an idea though

I work on a lot of systems and most are using micro services architecture but I do occasionally find myself doing some monolithic applications.
