I hate to say it but MJX is the best 16th scale out there for the money. Like I said before they're fast reliable durable and loads of fun. And they're very smooth they don't sound like the gears are going to strip out every time you put the gas on. Then I think WL toys takes the second spot.😮 A lot of the other brands lie about their speed MJX is pretty well spot on. That screams pro version to me. Keep it up MJX You guys are kicking butt in the game right now.👍👍👍👍

Cheers Brad! Only issue with these cheap cars is the lack of local stock as they arent usually stocked by hobby shops. Depending on how successful they become it may happen though. Look at the ftx tracer, sg1603/udirc models all stocked by modelsports/wheelspins etc so its a possibility.
Does the cheaper Radio that comes with this one have speed limiting like the other one? Looking to get this for my 5 year old and would like to keep my ankles when I'm not driving (and let's be honest sometimes when I am)

I ordered this last week. This video makes me so much more excited to get it. It looks so much more beefy compared to wltoys. I bet parts wont brake or bend nearly as often.
Awesome little truck. It mighht not yet have the parts support of the HBX (which is licensed to a load of other Brands) and its more expensive than the 16889a pro and the Flyhal fc600 but its also higher spec. Proper, separate components and a manufacturer commitment to it running on 3S. Slightly faster on both 2S and 3S. Honeycomb chassis. Better battery tray. Optional GPS stuff. Better tyres. And just as durable from the videos Ive seen. Im certainly impressed.

you can easily fit a 2200 mah in there but might need to cut off the plastic tab on the battery hold down to make it fit. Some slight modification but it will work. any 2200mah 20-30c would be fine

1- hbx 901a its larger and more capable off road and as an all rounder 2- mjx brushless truggy - a good take anywhere mini basher 3- wltoys 124017 - all out speed ideal for speed runs 4- mjx buggy - Great on road but not as capable off road as the monster truck or this truggy
@@beyondRC to be fair i wont even recommend 124017 for speed runs , it's better to get the 124019 and convert to brushless yourself. This way to pay a bit more but get better electronics all around.

I think I would enjoy this over the 18 scale HBX MT I got last month. Tires are disappointing and although it is really good at the skate park its just not as good as the legendary 16 scale HBX MT. That thing is brutally tough. Trying to decide between this, that dune buggy you love or the new WLtoys mini infraction.

ground clearance is only a matter of adjusting the shocks right? i mean other than the top/body/cover the rest of the car is identical to the other versions of this model right?
I wonder this as well and came here looking for info... The monster trucks have way more ground clearance than the buggy or truggy (looking at the suspension droop, not the size of the wheels), and the shocks on the monster trucks shows almost twice as much of the piston rod being visible compared to the truggy and buggy as well. Considering not all of the steering components are adjustable I think the answer is this can't just be adjusted out and the monster trucks must have way more ground clearance and suspension travel. The rest of the cars are not identical - 3 of the 4 cars (16207/8/9/10) use different body mounts and locations so there is definitely differences, requiring different parts. Does the extra travel really affect handling or jumping ability? I don't know.
@@bentravis99 higher center of gravity definitely affects handling (roll over) and more suspension travel would certainly improve jump landings and bump absorption for lack of a better term. I just wasn't sure if they were actually using longer suspension components or just setting them differently. I don't remember how much difference there was in the different models, this was a year ago.

Looking back at the photos of these 3 versions, only the buggy has different body mounts, but that's a matter a couple parts. that doesn't affect suspension which is what i was talking about. it appears to me from photos that the main difference is the length of the piston. the buggy and truggy sit with the suspension arms basically flat/horizontal while the truck sits with the suspension extended more. The question is whether the A-arms are the same and they just adjust or change the shocks for different ride heights.

Can you adjust the front toe? Where do you change it and which direction makes the toe inward?

Good to go I believe. I have had 4 hyper go's now and all been solid with the diffs.

Battery life is always dependent on how you drive. On the included battery I managed about 12 mins but again it depends how you drive.
