Missed a few due to "duty" so catch up time, I trust end of lock down will get you back on the trail? Thanks for all your up-loads, very much my cup of tea.

Glad you're enjoying them, we love being able to visit these places, they're our cup of tea too :) Hope your 'duty' wasn't too taxing.
We will be back on the trail at the end of the Covids, and also I need to get my health back up to snuff, but then yes, back on the trail is the plan!
      Jo

@@MostlyCastles + Well the "jabs" may see some light at the end of a very long tunnel, fingers crossed! You must look after yourself Jo, we need you back on the Castle trail. Duty was fine, seasoned at it :)

Yes, bring on the jabs! And thank you, hopefully will be back in fighting form at the beginning of next year. Crossing all the fingers here!
Glad ‘the duty’ went smoothly, sounds very spy/ assassiny calling it that 😂

Wouldn't be monastic communities the example?
ps: I use to make the reflection on that in the reverse way: Communism following some old Christian precepts.
Amazingly beautiful. I wish all these historical places could be preserved for the ages. The stories and continuity that lies within is exceptional ♡♡

That's a good point. I suppose they are supposed to be very similar. I think that certain human tendencies get in the way a bit though. Shame really.
