Had a 2011 street bob with the 96 and just got the 2019 street bob. I think they look 80% the same but perform totally different. The old bob had enough power and the new bob is insane stock. So happy with the upgrade.
Just test rode a FXDB and a fxbb. I feel like the fxbb was super easy to ride and barely felt like it was on on idle, but for me personally the shakiness of the Dyna and the sketchiness of the Dyna is way more fun. Now if you're going to be commuting a lot on the bike then the fxbb would be the way to go but for around the town fun it felt like the Dyna feels way more fun and badass.
great video but I just ordered a new 2024 Low Rider ST and I told the manager I want no mileage on it because of employees taking out the new ones without letting it warm up and straight to ripping the streets big island.
I've got the softail street bob and I love it. I wanna a put some pipes on it but not sure which ones. I don't wanna lose power over some pipes that just sound good. Any ideas on a specific kind of pipes? Cool video.
If you are looking to do a full stage 1 and want some good power I would suggest looking into 2 into 1 exhaust systems. If you're just wanting some sound without losing power, Rinehart Slip-Ons have a really nice sound without really changing performance . I heard S&S has nice Slip-Ons as well, we are fixing to get a set for a softail in a couple weeks. You can swing by the dealership then if want to hear them roar!
I have a 2020 street Bob. It is a sick bike! So much power! Stock is good, but I threw on a set of cobra racing slip ons and now I do burn outs at every stop light lol. Only 2 things I don't/ didn't like. 1, Stock it sounds horrible, like a suped up lawn mower. 2, after you break in the stock seat, 2hr rides are hard to do. I just swapped it out for a le Pera kickflip
It sounds exactly like....a seller. Just trying to sell new bikes. I'm not a Dyna bro, btw. Although I own an fxdls. I've ridden several softails. The frame is better, no doubt. But it's not that much faster and it has just a tiny should, compared to a Dyna with a rumbling and shaking twin cam. All sounds a bit desperate to me.
Adrian G it’s enough to make a very big difference on the look and style of the bike. I almost went the m8 softail, it responds really well and is a much smother ride. But the Dyna looks far more staunch. Small changes like the tank are the reason I bought a 2015 Dyna, not the 2019 M8 Bob.
I love my 10 street bob. I haven't ridden a new o e yet, the only new chassis bike I've ridden is a 19 fatboy. And needless to say it handles like shit. I gotta get on 9n a new one I can rip on. I've heard nothing but good things.
These new softail street bobs handle like a dream, it almost feels like you couldnt drop the bike if you wanted to. The new frame is absolutely solid, zero vibrations.
lol, the funny thing is that I don't get paid to promote old or new. I get paid to give my honest opinion. When I shot this video I owned a 2004 Dyna Superglide FXDI, and I am very much biased towards Dynas. They are both great bikes, I personally like the power and agility of the new but also like the look and feel of the old. I hope you're loving your dyna as much as did mine! Going to Pick up my 2020streetbob in 26 days 😎😍 I just can't wait.
I bought a 2020. They are awesome
I like the big tank with the speedo more than the small ohne on the new Streetbob.
Street Bob 107 so light but pulls like a train! I've got fwd controls and taller bars and its a struggle to hold on with just a stage 1 tune lol!
The FXBB may have more power but, I will always prefer the exposed shocks on a FXDB.

I couldn't agree more!!

Awesome video! The softails are awesome but I love my Dyna Street Bob! ( The Jackie Chan )
Love my 2013 Dyna Street Bob. Good video...thx!

2 into 1 from most manufacturers are great. S&S has a California carb compliant if you’re in California but still is loud and has performance.
Still need the 5 gallon tank on the 107.
I just wish the new bob had a bigger tank. For some reason the m8 street bob looks like a nice 1200c. One of the most enjoyable rides ive had though..

I don't like the tank customizing mine. Pic in profile is it after I dumped it
LOL, aaaaah you made me laugh so hard from 14:00 on.
Awesome video 👍👊😎 cheers mate 🇦🇺
Thanks!!! I appreciate the feedback!
Greetings from Texas!
Love that bike just road one today. And road a 2013 hard candy color. Bob. 2018 hands down awsome bike. Love it.
Great video 📹, thank you!
Love my softail streetbob

The softail should have the dyna gas tank and handlebar
Great video Maverick.
Sorry but dyna guys should accept now softail is the better bike. Even that hardtail look alone is enough 😂 no need to mention m8 💯
Smaller tank on the softail but I get roughly 180 miles a tank on my 2019 street bob and I’ve put almost 10,000 miles on it...
i have been riding bikes for over 50 years and ive rode and had a few harleys and the softail street bob is the best bike harley have ever made
The dyna street bob looks like a slightly bigger bike than the new street bob

I subscribed. Great review
16:00 had me dying hahahahahah
Fxbb torque beast
Hahah I almost fell off when I hit That throttle on my Street Bob :)))))
first time I rode the new street bob I did too! So much unexpected torque!!

More like "dyna (bruce lee)" vs "soft tail(jet lee)"!!!
Must be nice riding in a town with no traffic #fuckthebayarea
The softail wins on performance and handling looses on detail . Looks cheap and nasty .more like a Kawasuki than a harley
You are so obvious/what are they paying you to flog the new bob/I’ve got 2006 you’ll never con the dyna that there’s a new bob in town

Jean shorts..... ewwww
Jean shorts!? Where did you see that? hahahahaha (they're ripped jeans lol)
What a waste of time.
too bad they made that great bike on a poser chassis. M8 on a dyna SB...that would be money.
