This is the greatest performance by double trio ever. Trio forwards (Pedro, Messi and Villa 1 goal each). Trio midfielders (Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets 1 assist each). Incredible.

Both times United got humiliated (2007 & 2011), both times the opposition were the eventual winners (AC Milan won in 2007, Barca won in 2011).

We had no business being a CL final that year really. Our best team was the 07/08 one that beat Barca, it declined every year since then. What I would've loved to have seen was 2011 Barca vs 2015 Madrid, that's a final that would've been amazing.
Mahi Khan they had string team a year later but got dominated by Barcelona in Rome but they did well to make it back to back finals and year later they got to last 8 and this tram was good but getting them to final was impressive against the best team in passing ever and just dominated that season and this final was 3-1 could been seven

Reflecting back on this match 10 years later, I had never seen anything like it. This changed the way I understood football, especially being for the UK. The peak of football was hit and it changed the way we played for the next decade.

Hernandez's Was, and is to this date absolute garbage, cannot dribble, and pass accurately. Was just a lucky poacher that for a while carried attention that lead to a transfer. Other than that was extremely overrated
