Great,it re-kindles unique memories within me when l was a kid but l am always clued to this tune.I watch big college guys from my village dance this with glory.
Great Music. This music make me to always remember Nigeria good old days. I wish for good leadership again in Nigeria to draw more Nigerian billionaire home in diaspora to invest home.
I remember a neighbor who is late now. Through him as a kid then in the 80s I cherish the lyric. It still resonates my mind. Where are you Felix Liberty?
My brother and I used to dance this with my dad back then in Nsukka. Oh, the memories when we would dance without a care in the world. RIP daddy. We love you.
I was just speaking to a young lady called Ngozi and telling her about this song - she never heard of it. I'm so happy it was on here as I thought it might've been lost to the world 🙂 Thanks so much for posting. It's still giving joy in 2023
Felix Lebarty was big back in the day. This song was a huge success, played and enjoyed everywhere in Nigeria. The song brings back fine memories. Wonder what Felix is doing now 🤔
I was with him alongside Revd Cicely and Bishop in his Christian Ministries Fellowship at the Tabansi Records Quarters at Oregun Road where he had as Venue, but, now he's in the USA with his wife.
So na you be the Ngozi the bobo dey sing about? Hahaha, you are correct about the phoniness of being a pastor in Nigeria of these days. Hunger drove Felix Lebarty into Jesus freakishness; for the right amount, I'd bet that he would pick up his guitar and sing a song for us. I must admit that he asked folks to no longer listen to his old songs, for they were inspired by the devil; he also said that anybody who does not accept Jesus is a mad person. Those are patently ignorant comments, which are typical of born again people.
@@Zaramoku omg who they lie like this? This man live in New Jersey in USA. And he has been living here for over two decades. We used to be together in orange Newark area in jersey, stop saying what you don’t have the fact please. Which ogba he Dey…lol
@@topeawodiji4691 You seem to be the one lying and not knowing what you’re talking about. Felix Lebarty granted an interview to a Nigerian newspaper (Punch, I believe-google it) where he disclosed lots of things including some of the ones I repeated here. What would I gain from attributing things to him if I didn’t read them from his interview? Maybe he has abandoned Jesus and returned to NJ, that doesn’t mean that I lied.
In those days we used to peep on our seniors at the disco halls. Life is truly a passage

This song was really loud & banging in Lagos when it was released in the 80s and was a monster hit!
This should be on African mix songs
Sonorous voice, heavy drums & bass lines! Awesome sound!
