Hey Laren I am new to resto shaman. I awlays find myself spamming healing surge and getting most of my healing from it, but when i see better players in warcraft logs they have almost no healing with healing surge. Do you have any tips on what else to use?
In a key environment there will always be a balanced use of all Healing Surge, Healing Wave and Chain Heal mainly (together with the obvious Riptide and Cloudburst). If you're having to surge a alot it's probably because people are taking avoidable damage and you're needing to spam people a lot. Other than that make more use of Chain Heal during High Tide, play more actively around your cloudbursts, make sure you have your riptides active on people, and make use more of Primordial Wave with Healing Wave cleaves
