The Untamed

But inside, their core values resonate really well with each other. They regard each other as equal. Their relationship is really strong where you can actually feel that nothing could ever break them apart. They are that solid. While Jiang Cheng and Wei Ying although they know each other longer and have been with each other since childhood, i always felt that their relationship is fragile. One wrong move and it will shatter and fall apart. Lan Zhan grew up surrounded by rules, though his older brother was there to give love and support. Wei Ying grew up loved by Uncle Jiang, the adoptive sister, and brother. Both were selfless in their instincts to help others and in many ways were equals. Which I think for both of them was a kind of freedom to be truly be themselves. It was just that Wei was much further along that path than Lan Zhan. As to Wei Ling and Jiang Cheng, I think that Wei instinctively knew that his brother would not be able to be the same firm, but caring clan leader like Uncle Jiang. Wei Ling did try to encourage and reassure his brother and that is why he made that promise to serve at his side like his father had to Uncle Jiang. But deep down inside, Jiang Cheng knew he was not as smart, as good in fighting, or be the natural leader like Wei was. He knew that to be a great clan leader, he would need Wei by his side to help him.

I think Jiang Cheng, his relationship with Wei Ying is between love and hate. When they first met (when they were kids) he didn't like Wei Ying, because his dad gave his dogs away. He wanted nothing to do with him at first but when Wei Ying ran away and he and his sister (Yanli) went to look for him, he decided to get to know him. Even though he was jealous of the attention Wei Ying got from his father, he stayed by his side and they became best friends/brothers as they grew up together. The difference between him and Wei Ying is, that Jiang Cheng cares way too much about cultivation and what other people think while Wei Ying is carefree and doesn't care what anyone says. Jiang Cheng always tried to get him to follow the rules and stay by his side not realizing Wei Ying always followed the YunmengJiang Sect Motto: To Attempt The Impossible. Even though Jiang Cheng didn't like it he would always follow him and try to keep him out of trouble. Jiang Cheng is dedicated to his family and even though he hated Wei Ying throughout most of the story because he didn't understand or agree with the way Wei Ying did things, I think deep down in his heart, he wanted to understand and be there for him, but at the same time, his ego, what people thought of him, and his reputation kept getting in the way. In my opinion, Wei Ying only saw Jiang Cheng as a brother, someone he can talk to and hang out with, like Nie Huisang. But, after everything that happened between them and their family, things would never be the same.
With Lan Zhan, at first, his relationship with Wei Ying kind of started the same way. Not wanting anything to do with Wei Ying but Lan Zhan's feelings went from, annoyed, to friendship, then love. At first, I think he thought Wei Ying was the most annoying person he has ever met, but as he got to know him, his feelings changed to, "maybe this guy is ok." As they got closer he realized that his feelings for him were love. He started to care and worry about him more. He wanted to be by his side and protect him. Unlike Jiang Cheng, Lan Zhan always tried to understand Wei Ying. He tried to help and protect him when everyone turned their back on him. He never gave up on him. Even after Wei Ying's death, he never stopped searching for him. Unlike Jiang Cheng, Lan Zhan doesn't care what people say or what they think about him. He was going to be with Wei Ying, one way or the other. It didn't matter what his Uncle or anyone says he was going to follow his heart and be with the one he loves, whether they liked/accepted it or not.
I think when Wei Ying came back to life as he said, he thought Jiang Cheng would always be by his side and Lan Zhan would be their enemy. Instead, it was the other way around. Jiang Cheng never forgot about what happened between them 13 years ago and the promise they made. Unlike Lan Zhan, he still blamed and held a grudge against Wei Ying. When he saw and realized that Wei Ying and Lan Zhan were getting closer, I think he didn't want to accept that he lost Wei Ying to Lan Zhan. When Wei Ying snapped at him after, what he said to Lan Zhan in the ancestral hall, I think he realized he lost him. Like Lan Zhan has him in his heart, Wei Ying has Lan Zhan in his. Nobody can tear them apart. When he saw them, he tried to get everything off his chest, all his jealousy and hatred but, in the end, the truth came out. Even though Lan Zhan regretted what he did too, he made things right and worked on himself, improving his relationship with Wei Ying.
i always want to know, are wei ying and nie huisang close? i mean, like close friends? i'm always confuse here about their relationship. i feel like they are close, but at the same not close too?

Later when they were both adults, he lets WY be himself and only wants him to be careful and safe. He even changes himself so that he can understand, support and protect WY better. But JC is different. He wants WY to confirm to his rules, his thoughts and his way of looking at things. Thats why things turned sour between them. Love or brotherhood cannot be forced.

Like you said, Chiang Jengs inner world is not strong. Lan Zhan's love is unconditional and he is smart. He accepts Wei Ying for who he is and he understands him in such a way that Wei Ying doesn't need to pretend or explain, Lan Zhan is a breath of fresh air for him. Wei Ying doesn't have to control himself or his actions when he is with Lan Zhan and that is why he chose him. Jiang Cheng cares too much about his reputation to truly understand Wei Ying, and Wei Ying cannot spend his whole life explaining to someone who will never understand. Lan Zhan has always been a quiet force of rebellion, when he loved his mother too much, when he went after Wei Ying, when he asked his uncle what was right and wrong. 其實，前世時魏嬰和江澄相處是很累的，因為江澄內心敏感纖細，他也渴望得到父親的讚許，母親的慈愛。但是，因為魏嬰是“朋友之子”，所以江父傾向欣賞魏嬰的優點，忽略他的缺點，但對於“親生兒子”，江父傾向忽略江澄優點，只提出他的不足之處，希望兒子能夠表現更好，而偏偏兒子的“不足之處”就是魏嬰的優點，這讓江澄總有一種被父親忽略的感覺。

偏偏，江母這個陳年老醋永遠沒有倒乾淨的時候，因為那個女人已死了。而活人永遠比不過“先人”的，所以江母的不痛快只好全部加在魏嬰身上，同時一直強求江澄，希望江澄能夠“高於那個女人的兒子”，這樣子才能夠讓他的不痛快得到發洩。
所以，如果不是為了江父的養育之恩，不是為了師姐代替了他母親及江母，調和了這兩者的矛盾並給予他們溫柔慈愛，魏嬰是很辛苦的，若沒有上述兩者，他才沒那麼大的耐性常常開解遷就鬧彆扭的江澄。
但是，藍湛就不一樣，藍湛會傲嬌的總是說“無聊”，但是卻並不會需要魏嬰開解遷就他，魏嬰不必在藍湛面前伏低做小，不像在江澄面前，他總是需要常常哄著他說“你做家主，我做你的下屬”，這是江澄的心結，但是魏嬰在藍湛面前卻不用擔心這種事情，那自然是自在的多了。
而且，魏嬰喜歡熱鬧，看到不平之事，總是忍不住要出來說話或阻止不平之事。藍湛雖然不喜歡說話，但在魏嬰說話的時候，他是認同的。所以，才會有被一起困在屠戮玄武洞，以及在百花宴時反被金光善的搬弄是非。
可以說，藍湛和魏嬰的信念一直以來是一致的，並不會雙標，而這也就是他們最後分離16年的原因。
藍湛其實一直都擔心的是魏嬰修行鬼道會“傷身”，“傷心性”，而不是認為魏嬰會用鬼道為非作歹，因為他理解魏嬰的憤怒，只是當時他被3千條家規牢牢的綁死在藍氏上面，所以除了離開給綿綿送一件沒有家紋的袍子並鄭重其事的行禮以外，在眾人面前不能夠多做太多。
但在不夜天之後，發現魏嬰果然被鬼道及陰虎符給傷身體及心性了，他卻是第一時間選擇帶著魏嬰離開，給他療傷，不顧藍氏家規把他送回亂葬崗，卻還是不能夠避免3年後魏嬰死亡的結局，只能夠救回溫苑。

至於魏嬰在仙子前喊了誰，我覺得口型其實是在喊藍湛，因為舌頭與口型的變化對不上師姐，而且我記得好像有傳聞說魏嬰在劇裡喊的藍湛但怕過不了審核所以配音時才喊的師姐。
但我認為身份不同也會造成價值觀不同，江辰是家主，他有責任保全江家，比較難顧到其他家的事，所以他並不完全軟弱或自私，他只是和魏無羨立場不同。

記得先前找同人文看的時候，有個人留言說，魔道祖師這部書，羨的重生只成全了藍湛一人，魏無羨重生歸來，即使表現得好像跟前生不同、甚至更豁達，但他其實不願意回來，他回來後完全沒有表現出高興興奮等情緒，只有藍湛對於他的歸來又驚喜又不敢置信，而其他人就更不用說了，江澄對魏無羨半句軟話都沒有，全都是質問和責怪，看起來似乎很顧念舊情，但是他但凡對魏無羨還有些感情，就不會說那些字字誅心的話語。
真心覺得那些覺得江澄委屈的人該來看甜蜜君這支影片；我自己目前在寫魔道祖師的同人文，很認真的在琢磨每個角色，江澄其實是很典型的共富貴後沒辦法共患難的人，當然跟他的性格教育有很大的關係，但要說他完全無辜、甚至是受害者，這就太過偏激了。

It's in the book, basically Wwx asks lwj what the songs name is and then starts trying to guess, he finally asks if it has anything to do with their names and lwj confirms it, and says the name, I think wei actually laughs and says something about him being corny? Yes now that is how I see it to. You would have thought that LZ would have looked at WY status and background since LZ status was high within the Cultivation world but he never looked down at WY. LZ looked at him as equal and treated him as such. Even though LZ didn’t like others around WY he said nothing But JC never liked WY to be around others. LZ never asked WY to chose but JC did.
I believe between Wei Ying and Jiang Cheng, at the end of the movie, especially after the golden core is revealed- Jiang Cheng was finally able to come to a sense of stability after being lost in grief for so long. You can see this in the Guyin Temple scene where he smiles while watching WWX fighting and gets the answer to the question of why WWX never came to him or told him. JC has his secret of why he ran and got caught, but WWX still does not know this and frankly, I don't think he ever will. JC and WWX will always have a bond, but the loss of their shijie made both of them go mad with grief. WWX suicided and JC tried to find his brother after not finding WWX body or soul, keeping Chenqing with him safely. For WWX to choose LZ was understandable because WWX would be more safer from his enemies with LZ than he would be with JC. JC has Jin Ling to take care of and Lotus Pier to run by himself. I know many people have said their relationship will never be the same, and i agree with that. But I also think slowly, since WWX actions have been brought to light and he has more people that believe in him, the two will end up healing one another.

唉，想吐槽江橙的太多了，总结一下，我并不觉得江橙是一个好的家主，而他所谓的“世家命运”也仅仅是他们世家的面子。 您说得对，一个好的家主绝对会优先考虑家族利益，而非儿女情长，但是我恰恰认为江橙是为了自己的情感抛弃了家族利益，或者，因为他自己的情感而从未看出真正能带给家族利益的东西。说白了，要是他真的是一个好的家主，只为家族世家想的话，我们不说他们的一切感情，他也会全力保下魏婴的，因为他们云梦江氏刚重建，非常的弱。魏婴的强大恰好是他们所需要的，要是有魏婴，他们绝对都能称为五大世家之首。但是因为他自己对魏婴强大的能力一直以来的嫉妒，和被‘下属’反超太多的尴尬没面子，所以导致他最终选择了面子，没选择魏婴。他没有保他，其实也是因为他想让他吃一点亏，吃一点苦，再回到他的身边成为听话的下人。这里说一下，他不是一个好的宗主的原因也很大的也有因为他还小，没经验，也没有完成他应有的培训，所以也导致了他的目光短浅和带入的私人情绪（小声bb一句，他的个人疑惑行为和性格人物槽点也是非常非常非常多的，我已经吐槽过了很多遍，在这里就不了）。
江橙的人物我为什么死活都喜欢不上？他们最后‘和好’的时候我相信你们都有哭过。但是你们没有想过他一直质问魏婴的话吗？“你说过要辅佐我的！”一遍遍，一字字的去质疑为什么魏婴没有做他的左右手。没有太多的关怀，没有太多的对魏婴的怜悯和对他遭遇的心疼，反而是为魏婴离开他的委屈。到最后，还想要魏婴过来讨好他。当然，这就是他的人设，表面非常傲娇非常自我但是内心深处很柔软。但是一个人的表面也是一个人的一部分呀。
魏婴最后的‘对不起’彻底断了这一切其实挖出金丹就已经还了的恩怨。他有了对自己全心全意的爱人，有了自己的家，不能也不想再全心全意的讨好江橙，他累了。

整個劇江澄是我最討厭的人，看了四次劇兩次小說也不喜歡，和好人壞人的討厭不同。江澄他格局不高，德不配位，做人彆扭。有些人理解他是因為父母的教育，而我恰恰認為他不能肚子思考分析，媽寶也好爸寶也罷，就是各種怕旁人的非議批評。總是一句“你讓我怎麼辦，你知道他們是怎麼說的麼？”一輩子活在別人的口水裡。他對魏嬰的感情是主僕，從屬，上下級。再一個溫情問過江澄是否能像魏嬰那班保護溫氏的親人，顯而易見江澄不會，不能，不敢，他怕人言可畏。蘭湛不喜江澄為人是必然的。我看劇時就說過，蘭大懂蘭湛懂魏嬰懂江澄。除了江澄不懂魏嬰，其他人都是相互理解尊重的。所以註定了最後是忘羨一起，而不是澄羨一起
Very good analysis! I think our dear author MXTX really wrote this relationship dynamic well. Jiang Cheng is envious of Lan Zhan: Lan Zhan is considered a genius cultivator, the pride of his clan and his uncle, the most righteous master of his generation, he was free to go wherever he wanted because he didn't usually have to deal with clan issues like his brother. Lan Zhan was everything Jiang Cheng wished he could be. And then, his best friend and sworn brother decided to risk their safety just to protect Lan Zhan, as if he needed protection, leading to their family tragedy. Not to mention, (in the drama) Wei Ying even says that Lan Zhan is his only equal, everyone else can not compare. Talk about a burn... Jiang Cheng was always insecure about his own abilities, it's a miracle he lasted that long. He even knew that even if he died, Wei Ying would be able to avenge his family, but if Wei Ying died, he was not capable, so he chose to let himself be caught. Jiang Cheng's behaviour is realistic, I can't really hate him for being the way he is.

我覺得虞夫人還是疼愛魏嬰的, 也不會真的砍他手, 也沒有真的怪他連累江家。因為當時的溫氏就算沒有魏嬰也會找別的藉口找江氏麻煩, 這點虞夫人不可能不知道。要她抽魏嬰幾下鞭子她還能接受, 要她砍手她便不能忍了, 她還是很關愛魏嬰的。最後在小船上道別的時候, 雖然虞夫人嘴上罵著魏嬰, 但眼裡滿是心疼, 她沒有真的責怪魏嬰的, 只是家裡出了大事, 她無處發洩, 需要一個靶子而已。

說得非常好，唯一有一點想補充一下。魏嬰重生不去找江澄，是因為，上輩子他是被江澄間接殺死的啊。小說裡有說，江澄帶人上的亂葬崗，並且選在魏嬰摧毀陰虎符的檔口。雖然魏無羨最後是被反噬而死，但江澄是主要討伐人是不爭的事實，江澄擁有陳情的歸屬權就是原著最有力的證據。雖然各大世家都以除魔正道的名義對魏嬰喊打喊殺，可他死後大家卻都想研究他的鬼道，特別是那個時候還活著的金光善，陳情這樣的神器不是因為江澄在殺死魏嬰這件事上立了大功的話憑什麼分給他？後來金光瑤和薛洋的對話也證實金家其實很想要陳情，那時候的江家無權無勢最大的威懾力魏嬰也死了，能是因為世家好心念在魏嬰是江家人的份上所以物歸原主？不可能的，不管是江澄帶討伐大隊上亂葬崗也好（沒有他的帶領這些人根本上不去，溫晁說過溫家派活好幾次人清理亂葬崗都無果），還是故意選擇魏嬰摧毀陰虎符的時機也好，他都是在殺魏嬰這件事上出了大力的。原著有一段溫寧和魏嬰的對話，溫寧說，江宗主殺了你，魏嬰反駁我是被反噬而死的，溫寧說，可是若不是他故意挑在那個時候……這是原始版本的小說，後來修改為可是江宗主他明明……修改後的版本魏嬰還說了一句行了不提他了。他是覺得江澄已經恨他入骨到想殺他了，並且他也確實死了。所以他當然不可能去找江澄。而重生後他對江澄的態度也是不想提，再無瓜葛也好，因為在魏嬰自己的認知里，他命都賠給這個人了，一切恩怨因果都該了結了。
