甜蜜君真的把我想到的没想到都分析出来了，陈情令有别于原著最重要的一点是人物格局的升华！也就是杨夏和方姐起草做这部剧的初衷“传递热血励志和正能量”。她们做到了。做神仙眷侣固然好，但是锄奸扶弱无愧于心这是两个人的诺言，蓝湛留下当仙督收拾残局，一方面是反映了他高洁的品格，另一方面也是更好的保护爱人，还有履行两个人扬善除恶的承诺啊。短暂的离别将感情深藏于心，待魏婴认清自己早已爱上蓝湛的时候，一定会回来的。这个时候不仅二人的感情得到了升华，也让这个剧的格局得到了升华，爱情不就是这样吗，不仅是望着彼此，更是向着一个理想共同前进。

Truthfully this was so great and their interactions seemed so genuine that the audience couldn’t help but be sucked in.
Try “Joy of Life” it’s very good and witty. It’s also a costume drama and the cast is wonderful. It should at least give you something to watch before going back to the untamed like I did 😁.
You are not alone. The further I went in watching the Untamed, the more I found myself impatient to see them together again. Then at the end I was still longing to see them together. This story and these two wonderful actors and this crazy-beautiful music that bathes every scene in magic...it makes me wish to see them together forever, in more dramas, singing, dancing, playing, anything. That they are perfectly matched is obvious. That they are best friends is natural. More, please God!

魔道祖師就是耽美小說。
绝对赞同这句，没有女主的戏才能这么精彩和真正达到发挥的意境 。一旦有男女主了，肯定一罗一罗芝麻绿豆事，光是忙着冷战很久很久都不用做有意义的正事了 。《陈情令》之所以更高贵的同性暧昧剧情，就是理直气壮用作打残那些男女侨情的戏剧简直"罗命"的 。难道看官们永远只能看回同样的戏，大概同样的剧情，几乎没不同的大结局戏剧 而已 ?????
幸好出了这部《陈情令》，看这两位同性爱侶，就算谈情也是一种怡人的情节，就算有误解，也是用一种很有情趣的对白表达，令观众听了也开怀大笑的情话，一点闷场都不有 。
换作是男女，真想一掌星鬼晕女主，任性妄为 。
然后再大巴掌星晕男主，为妞死得架啦 ?
还练什么武功高强 ?

Tbh, i honestly did not need any kiss scene or confessions. I could tell how much they loved one another just by the way they looked at each other, the expression in their eyes, and just seeing the THINGS they would do for one another. THAT is what a beautiful love story should be like

Both Wei Ling and Lan Zhan went through trials and strife, together and separately. Throughout it all, they both remained themselves but grew even stronger with a maturity that few could match. I like to think that afterwards they had a very good life at Cloud Recesses. It would be a wonderful touch if Clan Leader Lan even offers clan membership to Wei Wuxian, to show Wei that he is truly home. I can hope something like that would happen in another movie/series with these characters. Thank you, Sweet Jun, for your wonderful translations and videos.

thx for this analysis! I had the same thoughts but was to overloaded with emotions the first time I watched the ending. Of course it wasn't the same sweet ending like in the special edition version, but it was a package of tense emotions (sad and happy ones) which made it very interesting and outstanding. I know the ending in the novel is different, but in the context of the TV adaption it's really coherent and respects their personalities, beliefs and the power of love letting your love go (again) and to wait for him (not to force him). just like you said❤️🙏

I had never thought about it this way, but once you mentioned it, now I can't help agreeing with you. Either way, the song's name is a combination of their names, and Lan Zhan was always so unwilling to mention it. Thus, once mentioned, it becomes the confession.
