Then under that says
Version: (bunch of #s)
Branch Type: “local”
App is up to date; software is also up to date. Maybe it’s a glitch?? I’ve reset my phone, & like I said; never have had this issue prior. I just posted 2 days ago!

I just learned this off these comments if that ever happens again just power your phone off and on it’ll work I literally just did it worked I woke up and my Instagram was acting weird
No photo option on Instagram setting!
Hey guys I had the same issue. Uninstall the app and install again and when you open the app for first time you give the option for full access in to your photos. Sorry for my bad English 😅😅😅

Go to Settings, then to Privacy and Security, then to Photos, and allow the application you want to access your album. Thus, the application has been allowed to access photos.

Make sure you go to Privacy and Security, then go to Photos, and go to the application you want to open the photos for. Then you will find four options. Click on the All Photos option, and so on, it will open for you.

Just restart the phone.... It worked for me!
photos doesn’t show on my phone but i woke up and my instagram won’t let me get to my photos or camera..
update: its a week later but it powered off my phone and all my apps started working again !
