Many people say luffy is not broken but if its in the right hsnd at the right time it's more thsn broken i tried fighting boss fight and luffy is not upgraded but it only took around 5 sec to end the game, to be able to do the spamming i suggest using skill 2 first 7(bounceman) and when your all done go back to human form use snakeman use all skill take flag then human form now you still have gear fourth bounce man so its basically infinite skill i recorded the boss fight i will be posting it soon i wont even edit it the vid is just only 14 sec long

Im pretty sure you have figured out by now, if no it means the event character bonus. the characters that are on scout will have a score bonus in boss battles etc.Here kaido and luffy were on scout so they got that effect around them.
