That "cross-like symbol with a skull on it" on the right forearm is the campaign badge of the Indomitus Crusade. One particular neat (but also kind of ridiculous) detail you didn't bring up when looking at the relic shield, that I'm sure you've noticed as you played around with it, is that the skeleton is for some reason articulated, with actual ball joints.
To be fair with his wrists lol, in the 9th ed trailer, the indomitus captain seems to really put some effort in lifting the relic shield, having it propped on the ground when he is not using it. But you know, a quick dab of superglue on the wrist pegs will tighten it and solve that wrist problem, or bluetack for a more manageable modification. Best non primarch smurf at the moment imo. Hoping they continue with the indomitus line and give us the judiciar and the bladeguard lieutenant. Great video, and I’m waiting for a height comparison update with the new releases esp arjac compared to other termies and gulliman
I hear that using Pledge can also tighten the joints too so I may do that in the future. As I am responding to this comment 2 weeks later, well, we are getting the Judiciar which is AWESOME! As for the height comparisons, yes there will be a 4th video and definitely more after that too
they released all the fodder/regular soldiers first, which i got out of excitement... and now they are releasing all the badass, named and captain soldiers which I NEED they got me good haha

Damn thats a cool looking figure. My favorite part is the helmet, that mobile visor is dope. The shield is nice, not a fan of the skeleton sculpt, it would be better lookong whit a jaw bone. Overall a must have for all the details and accesories. Btw i just recieved my tempestus scions figure (kapic eagles, scion I) and was surprised for the detail and weight of it, better than the kriegg veterans. Very nice review brother Sprues, hope to see many more. Think JT would have to sponsor you oficially, you are their best publicist lol
This figure is likely one of my favorite non-unique character (I am such a Bladeguard fanboy). I am surprised that you're not a fan of the skeleton sculpt but to each their own. As for the sponsorship, I hope that I can be sponsored later in the future but for now, my partnership with Flyima and LTCave are more than enough

Well, guess what? The standard bearer was announced not too long ago! I will definitely pick that figure up because Bladeguard are one of my favorite units

FYI the skeleton is semi movable too. The hand can be un-pinned from the rib cage and moved.

This captain with relic shield would be 1 of the overall best they have made so far, much better in detailing, ratios etc.... hope they can keep it up
