I was stationed at Clark Air Base 1970 to 1972. The C-5 was a sight to behold, especially when the nose was tilted up and it was being loaded. Amazing aircraft!
USAF vet...Travis AFB 60th AMS - C5- and 141's we had 35 of each... We worked from the top of the horizontal Stab to the nose...MONSTER jets... Big planes are awesome to work on Lots of elbow room, most of the time...:)
@@quartaton It was an old C45 some thing of an aircraft where the civilian can get on the plane with an escort. My husband is a marine and so I get to ride the plane for free. They won't allow the civilian to fly with in the united state and so it can only take civilian from Hawaii to sanfran. I rode the C something more than once and I consider my self lucky, and it was all because of my marine husband.
I got really confused when he said the A330-MRTT was made by Boeing but then he said Airbus was taking orders from others. Maybe was a slip of the tongue. Great video. I love aviation!
anyone live near Toronto, you can go see the AN-124 parked at pearson airport, it’s been stuck there since the war started and been unused, but it’s quite the sight to see, genuinely a massive aircraft
@@albinoguidedog They did have a similar livery coming from the same stable. The Mriya did look quite different having a twin fins as opposed to the Condors single. Both had/have bigger stat's than the C5. Both graceful big white birds
These monster air crafts are designed to withstand long distance travel, spanding as far as “around the world,” & yet due to air-space, territorial-restrictions most of these super air-craft, will never travel further, than boundaries of their creators country, for fear of getting shot-down!? #TakinFlightOnSiteOrNot
Lol ... An-124 built by ukraine but Il-76 built by soviet union. Try and get right facts, don't mislead viewers. For your information both An-124 and Il -76 was developed by the soviet union. Now Il-76 is built in russia.
The list consists of current aircraft that are still flying. The ant225 that was destroyed was unfortunately the last one in use so it’s no longer a contender. Extremely sad to think about because it was such an impressive piece of machinery

Wow amazing aviation! I wrote on one before.
Oh wow! What did you write?

A330 MRTT is for sure not a Boeing aircraft like was said initially in the video.
Yes you are absolutely right. It's an Airbus plane.
Right. What a blunder, it’s clearly an Airbus
My Dad worked on B52s & others I've heard & seen them landing & taking off what POWER glad their still In the air 👍

The Boeing 317 Globemaster 3 was used in Agents of Shield as their transport plane then named Sapphire also based on the same aircraft.
Cool!

3:08 that's not a AN124, that would be a AN225 Mriya.
It was until AN225 Mriya got destroyed by the Russian invasion so the Condor is correct. Also correct footage it has 4 turbofans. the Mriya has 6.
are you good??
@@markpatterson4917 I swear the An124 had just the blue stripes and the the blue and yellow was just for the AN225.

Oh didint know I would be first
KC-135. KC-46. Both larger than the KC-10.
No
The number of crew members required for Russian planes is baffling. Why not make planes that require less crew and use them elsewhere?
