    Non-stop tips from Britain’s best lawn channel. Loving these tips, and Daniels products. My lawn has never looked better and we haven’t had any rain down here for weeks.

    I use an oscillating 3-in-1 sprinkler which I find provides excellent even coverage on my two 100 sq m lawns. Daniel, I don’t see how the sprinkler you use ensures even and full coverage. Can you do a future video showing how to adjust to get accurate / full coverage please?

    I have the same problem with the same sprinkler.
    3/4 inch hose fixed it.

    Got all my Gardena sprinkler setup ready to be installed yesterday and the inlet has one of those big-ass beefy hose connectors, I'd never seen one before yesterday then like busses the same connector shows up on your channel. Little weird. Luckily my house has plenty of pressure so I don't need a pump :)

    Another tip…. Hozelock connections with the shut off valve restrict water flow. Change this for a normal one and it’s a huge improvement

    • @DanielHibbertLawnExpert
      @DanielHibbertLawnExpert  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I had a normal one on thats why i had to kink the pipe so it didnt hit me

  • @davesmith6193

    Hi. Love this video. That definitely cures the problem. Would it be possible to connect that pump to an outside tap? So that it can actually suck water out of the tap. As I don't really want to have a barrel. Not got space you see.
    Thanks, David

    • @DanielHibbertLawnExpert
      @DanielHibbertLawnExpert  ปีที่แล้ว

      No as you might aswell just use the tap it wont accelerate the tap pressure that will remain the same, you need more water in the tank that can be displaced by the pump,

    Hi Daniel, do you have a favourite sprinkler you can recommend? That oscillating one looks pretty good. I have just sent back a Gardena one i bought off Amazon because the spray was pitiful despite good water pressure.

    have you seen the 3d stripes DANIEL? .looks like inflated pillows...stripe pattern is up and down..side to side and then both diagonals and it would look evil on one of your lawns..it looked great on a pretty shit lawn .so yeah ..you'd take it to another level..look at that for a positive comment🙃still havent forgot about your compost spreader

    I think these types of sprinkler (which do make a lovely noise) should come with a warning that you need very good pressure(or flow) . I have good pressure (way way better than the original dribble Dan showed, eg my oscillating sprinkler shoots water vertically approx 10ft and sideways approx 13ft) but its still not enough for an impact sprinkler - loads of people have the same issue. I suppose also as the pump is sucking the water out of the butt, you could put water in from the normal tap/hosepipe to make that water butt last longer

    I don't like being pedantic, but I think you mean flow, not pressure. I'm struggling with it myself.
