I scarified,seeded and top dressed with JM 3 weeks ago. I’m going to do the first cut tomorrow when I’m back off shift and apply SOW PRO, do I cut a third off and how long do i let that go in for a while and apply your equilibrium? If so how Long do I wait to apply it?

The Gardena impulse sprinkler will work with low-ish pressure as long as you don`t use an 'aquastop' connection.

Challenge Dannika...... Newly seeded lawn has a large patch of creeping buttercup, can't use a selective weedkiller this early because it will kill the new grass..... Do i just leave it until autumn/next spring?

@@DanielHibbertLawnExpert ah sorry yes didn't mean about feeding, just any tips or anything for cheaper mowers, I've taken up your fork tip and is great, wondered if there's anything like that to help make my cheap mower more effective! Cheers for the great videos, it's inspired me to get out there in the last few weeks and sort mine out
@@oliverfoster7200 yeah this time of year brush the dew off before mowing, i have REDUCE which is a product you spray on which stops it forming so my brushing days are over

Watching an earlier video.. question, how many minutes should I have a sprinkler going daily when overseeding a lawn. Please don’t tell me in inches as I have no idea what that is. Thanks.
Many people use a empty tuna tin as a rain gauge it’s about a inch deep

mix borax with sugar..they take it back to the nest and it kills the nest

I used evergreen 4 in 1 on my lawn and then seeded and top dressed it the week after not realising it inhibits germination for weeks after. Is there anything I can do or do I just have to wait another 7 weeks and re seed?
What was the decision process to not use a plain starter fertilizer?
@@wayneessar7489the lawn was full of moss after winter so I wanted to kill the moss and then scarified it, I won't be making the same mistake next year but just wanted to know if there's anything I can do about it now
@@stephenw5628 If the package says what the herbicide was, you should be able to look up the interval you need to wait before replanting.
@@wayneessar7489 yeah it says I need to wait 8 weeks, just wondered if there was anything I could do to speed that up or force the grass seed I already put down to germinate
@@stephenw5628 I don't think you can get rid of it easily but perhaps use the time to improve the soil.
Spread sand on top and punch holes deeply with a digging fork, do what you can to make it better for your next attempt.

Hi Danny. I have just overseeded and top dressed with with Jack's magic. I used 10 bags of the old compost but I had to open a bag of the new formula. I noticed it has now got grit incorporated in it, did you notice this?. I don't think my Allett kensington will like that. I hope it's small enough not to get picked up by my mower. Might need to find an alternative. What are your thoughts of them adding grit?. Thanks.
