They’re beautifully bright and cheerful. It is a lovely contrast to the grey days of winter. I enjoyed seeing you use the piping bags again.😊 Resin is such a wonderful medium, there are so many possibilities with it. Everything from massive river tables, resin and wood turning, sculpting and of course molds. The table tops on mine and my hubby’s nightstands were quite worn and I really loved them, they have a built in light that’s great as subtle night light when needed in the middle of the night. We sanded them down to the wood and did 4 layers of resin. The first one was copper, the second a mix of holographic orangish red glitter and maple leaves glitter in clear resin, the third was copper, burgundy, antique bronze and rose gold mica’s. Then we randomly splashed on Marabu’s gold, bronze, and green glitter alcohol ink as well as their dark red ink. We used a blow dryer to blend them and did a final clear coat. The maple leaves 🍁 and glitter peek out through the colors here and there. It’s my favorite resin project so far. My hubby hadn’t worked with resin before and we had so much fun doing those table tops together! Thanks for sharing your beautiful work during the busy holiday’s! Why these all colours are not merging?
What is the idea?
Coz I pour them separately and the resin is quite thick so they do not mix with each other. Thanks for the compliment ❤️
