Kevin (James McAvoy), die lijdt aan een meervoudigepersoonlijkheidsstoornis, wordt door een van de persoonlijkheden die in hem leeft, aangezet tot het ontvoeren van drie tienermeisjes waaronder de scherpzinnige Casey (Anya Taylor-Joy, The Witch). Its fantastic acting here how all in the eyes you can see dennis pretending to be barry...dennis is very steel eyed stare and raised eyebrows just glimpse here and there and he pretends to be barry...amazing performance from james mcAvoy

I don't know what you mean by sane ..I don't even think you do(no offense). Sane is just a broad term people, whom believe they are "sane", use to describe someone they are unwilling or unable to understand. Same goes with the term "normal." There is no such thing. We are all unique and beautiful snowflakes. That being said Barry is obviously gay and effeminate...he is just an extrovert and a natural leader...so that's what he was chosen by the group to do.
