As you know, the Vespa GT/GTS/GTV has a small fuel tank, which is only suitable for short-distance trips. If you run out of gas while you are traveling, and you cannot find a gas station, you are in trouble… If the fuel tank is enlarged, it will basically solve the mileage anxiety of most riders.
With 5 Liters / 1.3 Gallos of capacity, ensures up to 120-140KM / 85-90 Miles. The high-quality thick ABS container is so strong that it can hold the weight of an adult.
A small high-quality pump kit is provided for refueling and is easy to carry. A protective foam belt is also included, so you don't have to worry about scratching your helmet compartment and any noise while riding even on a bumpy road.

What an amazing accessory , I've never seen or heard of these.
I travelled from the UK to Azerbaijan via Cyprus and running out of fuel was always on my mind.
I nearly got caught out whilst travelling over a mountain range off road for 80km.

The Auxiliary Tank was mainly designed for the big frame Vespas because these are intended to be the "touring models"
I've talked before with the engineers at the factory to see if they would be considering designing one for the smaller frame Vespas, not sure if the ET's/LX would be the one but mostly for Sprint/Primavera it might come out soon!
BTW! funny to see all the comments on the forum... FEI and for the "professionals mechanical & chemical engineers" from MV who did not know the Vespa tank is made out of the same exact material and is even closer to the engine... lol🤌

Im trying to decide if i want to do this for extra gas on a cannonball cross country or do a roto pax can hanging under my back rack. Any thoughts on pros for this above that?
Hey! Thanks for your comment! Well, I think it depends more on the aesthetics, the Rotopax would pretty much alter the look of the Vespa no matter where you place them, some people find that not very pleasing when you’re trying to customize it with others accessories, but they are great adventures tanks! I have both options on my GTV, I’m also getting it ready for the 2023 Cannonball, I’ll be carrying the tank in the helmet compartment and two Rotopax underneath my Givi Topcase, if you go to my Instagram (@thescooterbud) I just posted some photos showing off the new Off-Road look I been working on… I’m also uploading a video very soon about the Givi bags I've been fitting on my GTV to get it ready for some moto camping as well, something you do have to keep in mind is the weight distribution, it becomes a challenge if placing them with the rear rack since these are only supposed to carry not more than 6kg, so adding a Rotopax would putt more unwanted stress to that rear rack as well as if placed too high would affect the wobbling effect on the front wheel, I figure a way to mount two 1 Gallon Rotopax in each side underneath my top case, I still haven’t ridden the bike with both tanks fully loaded and the top case, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be reinforcing that before a long trip just to avoid the worst… the good thing of the tank inside the helmet compartment is that weight distribution isn’t a problem and its capacity is 1.3 Gallons while the Rotopax are 1 Gallon.
