Cheating or not, it’s still hella impressive
it took me eight years to figure out a normal rubix cube-
Option one: take it apart and put it back in the right order.
Option two: peel off the stickers and put them in the right place.
Option three: call your dad over to help you and let him fail
Option four: stomp on it
Option five: throw it out the window (make sure it is closed for best results)
Bubsi option six: there are tons of web pages to help you finish the cube in 35 seconds

I started with 2x2 and then got a skewb before 3x3 then 3x3 and then I got a whole lot at once, a 6x6, then a 7x7 I dropped and lost a pice to then a 100$ order of a lot of stuff.

My seven year old and I have been teaching ourselves how to solve a 3x3 and he found this video to show me... knowing what goes into a 3x3 I cannot fathom the amount of code you have to keep in your head to solve a 13x13... this is insane.

One thought: Your time would drop dramatically if they made this in a speed cube w the magnets, etc...
I'm actually certain that much of the time lost solving this cube was due to the sheer difficulty in spinning it.
I'm sure he's gotten the hang of it from previous experience, it's not like it's the first time he's ever handled a 13x13 cube, he's probably done a lot of practice prior to this video so he knows some tactics to spin it fast enough, probably like 13 minutes or so was probably lost because of the spinning difficulty.
Just imagine, figuring out that one square was a different color.

Idk why but watching this made me think: there should be a Rubix cube huge enough that it would take literal generations to solve. After solving it a compartment (or room if it gets that huge) opens up with a treasure inside it. A family tradition that is passed down to each generation, to help solve the cube until it comes time for the final son/daughter's turn to finish it off
