I love how you said just because someone on TH-camr/IG has a lot of subs or followers doesn't mean they're a good photographer lol. So so true 🫣 Also, so nice to hear a photographer on here actually speak about their technique and relate it to actual principles of photography. I'm not into photography as much as I was years ago, but this video sure is inspiring me to take photos!
Thanks Mikee! I appreciate the kind words :) keep up the good work my dude.
Great video and some beautiful photos. This definitely gave me some things to think about and try out.
I'm glad! thanks for watching
Learned something new. Love how you explain things in a simple way! Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Great video Tongue! This is one of your finest yet.

Thanks man! I appreciate that
Thank you so much for showcasing your diverse repertoire of techniques that produce such stunning images! Time to get out there myself and do some experimenting myself :)
Please do! And have fun
You’ve nailed the Neo Punk look. Gorgeous, appreciate the content and tips, very helpful. Thank you.
Yay! Thank you!
This was a good watch! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is priceless. Especially for newbies like myself. Appreciate it a lot! 🙏
Happy to help!
Beautiful work, thanks
Many thanks!
the example at 12:20 is one of my favorite portraits ive ever seen, holy cow! you are criminally underviewed. your work also stands outside of all the typical algorithmic content that dominates youtube. thanks so much for sharing!
Wow, thank you!
I love your videos , from Morocco with much love !
Glad you like them!
So good
Thanks man!
As a beauty photographer, I’m biased to the hand posed portrait, but a lot was put into this video. Thank you for reminding us of lights and shadows with textures and most off, color wheel / color theory is everything.
Thank you!
Nicely done, my dude
Thanks man!
Great video as always, not too long, full of inspiration and information. Definitely wants you to go out and shoot…
Others try to sell this kind of information for big bucks and you just put it out for free 🙌🏻 Appreciated 👍🏻
Thanks for the love bro 😎
holy crap good vid. thanks
Glad it helped
You are a legend
Thank you!
Finally, and some editing tips please
Ya I got loads of editing videos to choose from. I did a recent one a couple months ago.
Great video! It’s amazing to see your channel evolve over time. And hey, did you ever do a “Best Fuji Lenses for Video” episode? Was looking for your recommendations and couldn’t find them. Which are your favs?
Thanks man! I haven’t done one because I’m not really a video guy. But the best video lenses that I used so far is the sigma 18-50 and the viltrox 13mm f1.4 but honestly it depends what you’re shooting. The most video I do is for this TH-cam channel and some small client work who needs videos along with their photos.
@@Iamtongue thanks! I only use Fuji for photos too, but a friend asked me re video and I remembered you shoot your content w Fuji. Seems there’s not many TH-camrs shooting video w Fuji.
@@YOUAREMYKIN you should check out @cinedailies channel. The man uses the xh2s to film documentaries, commercials etc. He’ll be the guy to talk to.
@@Iamtongue thank you!
Bro you are a underrated creator.you deserve mor subscriber❤️
thank you bro! SOON i hope
^ This guy knows what's up 👌
Lmao 🤣
Thanks for all of the great tips. “Cool” guys don’t do this much work to prepare.
Lmao thank you!
Great video. Good to watch a video where I learn something rather than a photo video where I’m being sold a bunch of merch.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank
thank you!
Waw thx 👨🏫
Any time
You’ve got a secret sauce you add to your edits 👌
You already know
Fujifilm portraits, in your video your using a Sony? 🤔
Yes Ive owned Sony cameras as well.. but all the photos shown here were taken by a fujifilm camera
I was waiting for this one 😂
East or west Iamtongue is the best #fujigang
Lmao thanks bro
after a year of listening 2 youtubers all i trust is iamtongue tbh
Lmao thank you you’re too kind 😭
Bro you have to lay off the AI scripts. It’s taking away from your natural personality, which is why I watch your channel.
Bro this is the first time I ever read your comments. Where were you before?
I have been here for a while. I rearely leave comments but I show up faithfully. @@Iamtongue
Awesome video brother. Learned a lot from you today. Keep on making these, brings such a value to the community of photographers 🤌
More to come! Thanks bro 😎
Dude made a video calling out gear reviewers just post the most mid photos and basic tips. We get it, you like to keep half your subject in shadow. None of these tips are "pro" tips.
Ohhh 😮
