Very true
and somehow theirs doesn't crash
The scrollable apps is actually the smartest way to stop the taskbar to overflow. If KDE fix their taskbar to scrollable apps, i will move, GNOME has been quite buggy at the moment
🤣
I find it rather strange to determine which DE to choose by how it handles lots of icons. Do you have lots of apps open at once? Never happened to me personally.
Agreed
@@yorimirus not really for me too, but i sometime like to pin so much app to my taskbar. And my school some of the older projector with 4:3, the taskbar will probably messed up if i put so much app on the taskbar that will be okay on 16:9, but not on 4:3
@@narenchris711 Oh I see. Didnt think of 4:3 screens.

This is why The taskbar is introduced in Windows 95. So it will just scroll rather than cluttering your screen and the task grouping getting introduced in Windows XP
In Windows 7 to 10, you can resize the taskbar for extra rows for taskbar buttons.
Also in Windows XP and Vista.

@Nguyem Khach th-cam.com/video/-f5tas5nlR4/w-d-xo.html
@@World_of_OSes ReactOS is still under Beta. They may add the Windows XP like soon
In my opinion, the buttons get smaller than the icon behavior is the most awful way to handle taskbar overflow, the scrollable and folding behavior is the best because it's not being smaller but it just hide and can be exposed with button or mouse hover
Why there isn't have Windows 8/8.1?
This is what I would do when I was like 5. The computer we had at the time ran Windows 98, and I would just open stuff and keep opening stuff, not knowing how to use any of it. Eventually the computer would become really unresponsive.
6:29 to 7:18 gave me the best nostalgia ever, I've used XP alot since its discontinuation but I have barely touched Vista since! I miss Vista. :)
Yeah
Did the NT 3.1 clock have a smart icon that showed the current time when minimised? That's nice

hey, i got some question, my disk is filling up for no reason, it has filly 15GB on the last week and i only got 4GB left on disk C:, any solution? it would be helpful
this guy is underrated, since every app takes like 5-15 seconds to open or less in computers, that means that if every os here [30 total in the amount of icons in the thumbnail] has 100+ apps, possibly even thousands, that means that HOURS and even DAYS of work has been put, respect.

Hiiiii :)
win 10 22h2 or 22h1 when weather and news are displayed taskbar get glitchy and explorer restarts every several seconds and high cpu usage and it's unstable. but it was with classic shell at once so idk.
There's no 22H1. They skipped to 22H2 to match Windows 11's new release cadence. Also, what's the exact number of the build where you're facing the issue? Press Win+R, type "winver", then press Enter and see the OS build number (e.g. 19045.2486)
@@ThatRandomToast probably i mean 21h2 and idk wich build, that wasn't my pc that was dell bussines laptop with quite nice hardware but has these glitches and i was there to fix them so...
@@ThatRandomToast Since Windows 11 doesn't have a H1 for any year, why does it still name them like "21H2", "22H2", "23H3", why not just name them like "Windows 11 2021", "Windows 11 2022", "Windows 11 2023"?

@@World_of_OSes Oh
in windows xp/vista/any version with taskbar grouping, what happens if you open so many apps that the number of apps listed has enough digits to overflow the taskbar? you would probably need to open a ludicrous amount of programs, but i would like to see what happens
You'd literally need more apps than atoms in the universe

Where do you get Windows 7 with Aero Glass/Theme? Can you provide a link for ISO download?
why did u download loads of different linux distros instead of just changing the desktop environment on the one u were using

Will you upgrade to Windows 10 after February 14, 2023? (Patch Tuesday)
