well, im Russian, and on Russian segment of TH-cam many bloggers are saying that she is a scammer, and they also provide proves of this. she started some scamming courses, etc
Offering courses is not a scam as many Russians think. It's a legitimate business. Thus Marina is not a scammer, instead, she is an unprofessional teacher and should be marked as such.

Kevin didn’t throw her under the bus! He corrected her mistakes in the video. There is a difference between meaning of the expression “throw under the bus” & correcting mistakes.
@@oksanawebster8729 By this point of view, yeah, using that expression isn't wrong considering that she's losing viewers by their videos; hence, it'll impact her course sales.
@@englishwithmrd That's interesting. According to Merriam-Webster, "To throw someone under the bus is to criticize, blame, or punish them, especially in order to avoid blame or gain an advantage." Clearly, Kevin can't be blamed for Marina's mistakes, as he's been trying to correct her English for ages. Nor is he trying to gain an advantage over her in terms of his command of English. Perhaps a better expression would be, "She might have gotten away with it, but Kevin caught her in the act" ?
The majority of what she says is fine, here we just get to see the mistakes in isolation. But the fact that she continues to provide enough mistakes to fuel this channel is worrying.
Is she doing this on purpose? I mean, she put them on the screen so she should know how to say them correctly... I would think 🤔 Thank you Kevin for your tremendous job and helping is improve our English 👍!
Потому что это устойчивое выражение. Переводится как "играть на слух, не по нотам" или "действовать по обстоятельствам" в зависимости от контекста. А вот другой пример: "She grabbed him by the ear". Его друг Джим говорит ему: "Invite Jane on a date at the party today. And we'll see what happens". То есть возможны только три варианта - девушка согласится, откажется или попросит подумать. It's super cool to learn English through these kinds of videos. Without a shadow of doubt, it enhances our communication skills.
That's why we should learn with native speaker, it's like drink from the origin.
Well, it also depends on the teacher's expertise. It is not only the language but also the knowledge of learning approach and methodologies.

Why, she is definitely fluent, only her grammar is not very accurate, which makes her a doubtful teacher.

A proverb about people who have misplaced confidence: If a cactus had Marina Mogilko's confidence, it would produce nectarines three times a year.😂😂😂
