Me too is only for positive ideas. On negative ideas you can say Me either or Me neither. So you can answer "I don't like cats" with -Me either -Me neither -I don't like cats either -Neither do I If they'd said "I like cats" and you like them too, then you can say -Me too -I like cats as well -So do I
