Love the power of my GU Patrol, had 2 Navaras and and still has my Pathfinder R50, love also the Toyotas from the old FJ45 to the 80Series but haven't owned one, not planning on Getting a 79Series or the 100Series for some reasons, but I love both vehicles👍😁
Both are great - almost impossible to decide which one is better - however, the pajero would win against both, been tested numerous times (the pajero can pull a train 💀)
Patrols were fewer . I still see them hard as nails. I'd say they are at par in reliability. Parts may be the problem depending on where you are owing to the lower numbers.

The old Patrols are reliable but the parts are super expensive and harder to find. Even for the newer Nissan vans like the NV350. Break them and you'd be scratching your head with the receipt.
@michaelpascual3581 you can find some cheap compatible parts for patrol engines from 83 model up to 2000 its isuzu engine compatible bro including transmissions and under chassis supports. Don't be fooled by the parts men do your research if you owned a patrol. Toyota LC is a thirsty beast and just zip your fuel tank happily ever after.
