I was convinced on trying those Body oils, right untill you said "Black owned"... I would NEVER buy a product based on the owners' skin colour, as well as I never would choose not to buy a product based on the owners' skin colour. It is racism either way! I have never heard that something is "White-owned". Aren't we better than that? Describe the oil, the scent, etc., if the product is good, that should be the whole point!
I’m honestly surprised that you would question why I mentioned a Black-owned business, especially when it’s clear that I am a Black woman who owns a business myself. How dare you overlook the significance of supporting Black entrepreneurs in a world where we constantly face more obstacles and fewer opportunities than white-owned businesses? Mentioning Black ownership is not about pushing someone to buy based on race-it’s about shining a light on businesses that deserve recognition but are often ignored. As a white woman, you’ve likely never had to think twice about how race affects opportunities in business because your race has always been represented and given access. But for Black business owners, it’s a completely different experience. So yes, I will absolutely continue to highlight Black-owned brands because we need that visibility. Dismissing it as “racism” is ignorant and shows a lack of understanding of the struggles we face. If you don’t get that, it’s a reflection of your privilege, not a problem with what I’m doing. I’m pinning this comment because I want to make clear of my response.
@@karina_waldron Your assumptions about my life and assumed lack of hardship, knowing nothing about me other than the profile picture that shows the colour of my skin, are completely ignorant and obviously racistic, never mind entirely inaccurate. You accuse me of overlooking entrepreneurs with a certain melanin amount - I don't! I just don't judge or favour people based on their melanin concentration. But you judge me based on my skin. I have been a long time viewer but this is very disappointing. I'll find myself out.
@@jorunpolsdottir7114 I want to be clear that I didn’t assume anything about your life or hardships-I responded to your comment with facts. You brought up race and dismissed the mention of Black-owned businesses as “racism,” and that’s what I addressed. The conversation is about the challenges Black entrepreneurs face and why it’s important to give them visibility. It has nothing to do with judging someone based on their skin color, but you seem stuck on that. I didn’t judge you based on your skin; I responded to your comment, which lacked understanding of the issues I’m raising. You may be a longtime viewer, but when someone makes a comment that is dismissive or rude, I’ll respond, because I’m human just like you. What I said was based on the facts of the situation, and if you still choose to see it as personal or “racistic,” that’s on you. I stand by what I said, and I’ll continue supporting Black businesses and addressing ignorance when it shows up in my comments.
I dont often comment buutttt WOW! 😳 I find it interesting and borderline offensive that you stated you were “convinced of trying the oils UNTIL you herd it was Black owned” You are very much contradicting yourself in this comment. If you were already convinced of trying the product 😒…then owners color of skin should be IRRELEVANT for someone who “doesnt care” either way. Cuz right now its looking like you do care. Why is her highlighting that and being proud of it stop you from wanting to try something you “already wanted to try?” Many brands are highlighted as women owned and I’m sure ur not in the comments saying “heyyy we dont say man owned, sooooo ! “ 🙄 I think the person fixating on race here is you, and I thiiiink 🤔 ur not being completely honest as to why you are no longer interested in the product you were so convinced of trying till it was promoted as “Black Owned”
Love all your videos!! You have influenced some of my perfume purchases in my perfume journey including my favorite shower oil! I will now buy crème de la crème!!

I LOVE Angel Muse...unfortunately I dropped my bottle over a year ago and it shattered into tiny delicious pieces along with my heart as you can find it nowhere 😢...the only Angel I like
Omg, overspay with Montale,... 🤢🤮Montale is one of the most sintetic smell as a brand... If you overspray with montale youwill kill me if you will be near me.... Please stop overspay Montale... Is not nice
In my opinion I don’t think you should tell people what they should do or not do with their fragrance amy6174.. that’s not nice either. Just because you think montale is “synthetic” (I think that’s what you meant to spell), doesn’t mean everyone else does😊

Did you mean "synthetic"?
Many montale fragrances are super strong and I wouldn’t overspray but this one I don’t feel is that strong
