So respectful of Celine, she was watching everywhere that Pavarotti was going or about to go and modifying her performance to perfectly blend, another artist would just go off on their own tangent or vocal gymnastics, but she kept with him as much as possible. Impressive from both
There’s something about classical music/opera that just invokes emotions you can’t explain or understand. Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma brings tears to my eyes everytime I hear it, even if I’m completely fine before I even begin listening to it😢
I love your reactions brother, I’m a 60 year old white guy from the U.K 🇬🇧 seeing your reactions and heartfelt words lifted me to another level, Ive watched your reactions to all Pavarottis performances and wow, God love you brother thank you for sharing your thoughts and being so open without a care in the world what others may think. You sir are a credit to the TH-cam community. Peace and happiness to you buddy.
I've never heard this before man thanks for putting it up. Pavarotti was my favorite and Celine is always amazing. Like you I don't understand how people wouldn't like this.
A candle. Sometimes it's so low and gentle, some times bright, almost lighting up the whole room and, anywhere in between. But always there. Never goes out.
You are so right! I have lived that and wouldn't trade if for any other experience in my life. I am 72 years old and I find you a remarkable young man, very insightful and with a true openness to experiencing with your heart. God Bless you!
He was great, a voice of the ages, I adore this type of music. She did some magic, but classical and opera, is so out of this world. I wished he lived too 100, you can't have everything. Sad to say.
Classical and operatic music is something that you love it or hate there is nothing in the middle. I am so happy to see another person has found the love in it .
Yeah, you nailed it. This is true love. That romantic love that you feel in the beginning of a relationship doesn’t last. It’s the everyday love/hate, waking up and going to bed with, joys and sorrows, for better or worse that lasts. I’ve been with my boyfriend 13 years. It’s not always easy. He’s very very sick and in a nursing home right now. If we hadn’t been through some hard times, we wouldn’t be able to survive this. But I love him more than any human being on the face of this earth. I’ll never love anyone the way I love him. He’s my everything.
You should listen to Shirley Bassey who sang this originally. Now there's a voice to knock your socks off. These two are a force to be reckoned with so not taking anything away from this amazing talent. Song is actually called Never Never Never
Shirley Bassey is a legend. Total legend. Her performance at Glastonbury in 2007 of 'I am What I Am' was wonderful. It's a favourite song of mind sung by a favourite singer! Her version of 'Killing me Softly with his Song' is so powerful. Her voice is completely unique. Three Bond themes too...Diamonds Are Forever, Goldfinger, and Moonraker.
You are so correct. There is a fine line between love and hate. I also think it’s GREAT that all you young people are willing to listen to classical music. No matter the personal taste in music, it’s so good to open your mind and ears to other kinds of music. There are so many genres of music that bring out different emotions in somebody. For me, I will always be a die hard Rocker, but playing an instrument growing up, we played classical by the end of highs school. I loved it then, as I love it now. Music can change your mood in a matter of 20 seconds. I listen to every genre of music depending on my mood. You seem like you’re a fine young man. I respect you so much for giving everything a try. You conveyed what classical music does for you. Music is a gift for the soul.
I've watched some of your reactions, and I must tell you, you are a very thoughtful young man. Keep listening to varying types of music, and expanding your heart and mind. Music is a way to put a voice to your soul. Blessings for your future....
pavarotti steps back from opera and slightly younger celine dion. this is like going to the climax of a play or movie and a couple world class voices are there just nailing it
Seems like you've had an Epiphany , my friend. I feel the same way about new music I'd never heard before. Certain music you can just feel deep in your soul. It feels like an awakening, and you find you just want more of that feeling.
Take all the kinds of experiences in life you can get... punk, classical, metal, jazz... it will make you grow as a human... I have been watching your videos for 3 years now, you were and are a great human being, and you still improving your self.... go the road you are travel on, it will make you better!
I have always loved your reactions, but this might be my favorite. You are really running your heart on your sleeve, and I enjoy that. I think this time in our lives has made us all very vulnerable. Like you said, music is healing.
i enjoyed watching your reaction! I can see your heart written all over your face and it is beautiful. Music bridges the gap between cultures and brings us closer together and there is nothing that compares to that power anywhere, this side of heaven. Much love.
This is the first reaction I've ever watched where it's my first time listening as well. That was unbelievable. The words, the passionate beautiful powerful voices, wow just wow
Celine Dion has got one of the most powerful female voices of her generation and the one before and her range is spectacular; however, even she is left standing by LP. 2 excellent singers - what a pleasure to listen to.
You are truly amazing for featuring this and for duly appreciating and respecting it. I have loved this music for years. It has helped me get by and elated me. I have heard and read reviews of the wonderment of this genre, but I have never watched, read, listened to anyone. ANYONE! who has been more engaged and genuine in his love and appreciation for this music. I love it that you are so real. Not hoity noity. Just real and you have the most lovely way of expressing your feelings! I applaud you beyond measure. I so look forward to watching more of what you will bring to us. You are a treasure! thank you JBLETHAL!
Look at her ! She's in heaven singing with him !!!! Love your personality so i just subscribed! Thank-you sir for your honesty and have a good day from Seattle Washington!!! Stay safe !!!
Ok, so you have such insight! Your analysis is something so beautiful! You are a deep thinker, with so much emotion and tenderness. Your love of classical music is infectious! You really draw our minds to not just listen and enjoy with you, but to learn from each song and it's meaning. YOU ARE ONE OF A KIND!! DON'T EVER CHANGE...🙌🙌🙌🙌
Celine tem uma mágica na voz.... Ela é imbatível vocalmente! Excelente vídeo. Celine has a magic in her voice .... She is unbeatable vocally! Excellent video.... Kisses by brazil. 🇧🇷
"I Hate You Then I Love You" (slightly modified "Never, Never, Never" by Shirley Bassey) is an adaptation of the Italian song "Grande grande grande" sung by Mina (the greatest Italian singer of the 60s and of the last decades) . LIsten to the original!
Classic music is intelligent music... my husband passed just 3 month ago...we where together for 20 years; we had our differences but the end of the day we always loved each other and never thought to be without each other. I wanted to die when he passed on because I could not imagine my life without him;;I still get these low moments; I’m getting better but still cry every day since he is gone.
You hit the nail,on the head about long lasting relationships. Love, hate relationships outlast them all. It helps to have more good than bad times but it is a balancing act. Been with my wife approx. 33yrs. Been together approx. 36 years total. Have a great day.
The power of this song and the voices of Celine and Luciano together are Magical. Your reaction says it all. Pure, Heartfelt and Sincere. Thank you for sharing this song and your heart with us.
Never change, I pray you have people in your life that tell you they are proud of you. If you don’t, then I’m telling you I’m proud of you and your willingness and open mind to experience all kinds of music.
Thank you for posting this one brother . Love the performance , made me cry 2 times , love your commentary and agree and feel the same way you do . Bless you .
Oh if you want to hear the perfect opera rendition of "O Holy Night" then check out Jussi Björling - O Helga Natt. It's the swedish version and it's so emotionally powerful. Even Pavarotti himself once said when compared to Jussi: "Please, I'm only human" which in itself shows Lucianos humbleness...
Pavarotti did a number of duets with a lot of different artists, even putting a concert tour together called "Pavarotti and Friends," to raise money for various charities. Some were better than others (this one with Celine is excellent)...the Maestro with James Brown was more than a little bizarre....but, then, he did a duet with Sting (Panis Angelicus...a duet I did with a young tenor when we were in college) that's quite good...I don't expect you to react to it, as it's about 15-minutes long, but, if you want to hear something to soothe your soul, look up "Miserere mei deus," preferably by a boy-choir...if you don't get chills (and, possibly, tears) when the boy-soprano's voice soars up and over everyone else, you might not be human...lol.... Love your reactions, very honest, no drama or playing a role, like too many reactors...just your honest thoughts and feelings...
I never heard this version before, so thank you for bringing this into my life as well! I only knew the original Italian version by Mina, called "Grande, Grande, Grande", her voice is also very beautiful. I'm seeing a lot of people recommending the Shirley Bassey version, so I will have to check that out too!
You realize this is not opera. Although, It's just as good! Romantic to the top! Again, very passionate. Also, let's not forget this magnificent orchestra! You are so sweet to share this with us. Thank you.
Celines voice is a lethal weapon!!!
A knife through the and an arrow through the brain 💯
@Marie Whitbread céline can also do gospel runs and riffs and R&B music. She is far more versatile
Duo top❤❤
So respectful of Celine, she was watching everywhere that Pavarotti was going or about to go and modifying her performance to perfectly blend, another artist would just go off on their own tangent or vocal gymnastics, but she kept with him as much as possible. Impressive from both
Céline doesn't override her duet partner.....ever!
Perfectly said!

All of these collaborations between Pavaroti and others are fantastic .
Das Duett ist so wundervoll. Und deine Reaktionen auf diese Musik/die Stimmen mag ich so sehr ...Danke.
this is gorgeous, gorgeous...that note she belts at "cry" for you, OMG it's heavenly
That note made JB cry. I cried when it ended. I wept like a baby that had fallen down with a boo boo.
Omg celineeeeeeeee.... Best voice in the world😍😍😍😍
Yes, it's too beautiful for words❤

One of the best duets ever in popular music: two legends together. Irrepeatible, unique! Subbed!
