Spanish River 2023 - Part 3

Filmed in July of 2023 this was a 6 day epic journey for the 5 of us. Spanish River is an amazing river to canoe from the scenic flat water areas to the adrenaline pumping whitewater. Part 3 is Day 4, 5 and 6 with a little bit of everything including Graveyard Rapids.

I really enjoy your canoeing and camping videos especially this one. I did a lot of whitewater when I was in my 20s through 40s. Sitting on my knees destroyed the meniscus. You are wise to sit instead of kneel in a canoe whenever you can.

I paddle a kevlar Wildfire. Interested in trying out on this trip.

@Bikerbobber Most the boats we took were RX Wildfires/Yellowstones. With the number of rocks I visited, I was glad I was in RX. Water levels were pretty decent for us. The cut of the wildfire is great for that trip. You might be skilled enough to avoid most those obstacles. Lighter would definitely be a plus on the portages.

Those must be toads, because only toads are weird enough to just sit there while you touch them.

Saw several grouse on that trip and a few turned out in focus.
