What the issue with a salvaged title car. Got a daily that had a salvaged title for 4k less than one with a clean title runs fine because it was completely rebuilt after the wreck. Went to the DMV and got it certified rebuilt for $7 and saved a ton of money

That is precisely the reason I don't do car shows as frequently. Generally you'll get a higher caliber of participants if there's a fee but the cruise-ins where you have your $80,000 investment at the mercy of some kid racing through the place in a Dodge Neon with no springs and basic coverage from The General. Mico you are right. Its the same way here in Lexington Ky. Bunch of junk at the night meets. C&C during good weather brings out 4 to 500 cars and the really nice builds.

As a car enthusiast this is getting harder to watch. It just seems to get more and more depressing seeing good builds just fade from the community. Glad drew does what he does, would never call it gate keeping. I think he's genuinely trying to keep the community going before it just gets replaced with regular traffic.

And everyone one of those cars at the meets the owners of them put there all into that car and love it and is there prized possession. Carmax is ASS bro. Got a car from them and returned it the next day because I realized they put me into a TERRIBLE fucking contract, which they never gave me full details on. Thankfully I read through it more clearly when I got home and they let me bring it back because it was within their 3 day return policy at the time.
Thanks for another warning, my willingness to deal with them or 'vana has dwindled to nothing but avoiding them completely.

Funny enough, this is spot on. I went to a car meet maybe about a month ago, and keep in mind, I haven't been to one in absolute years. So I decided to go and check one out finally and I literally left after like 10 minutes. All the cars there were as drew said, 440 credit scores and stock sad boy cars. No actual builds of any type. It's sad. Plasti dip wheels and lights don't make a build yall.

This kinda makes me glad I only went to truck/4x4 meets that excluded the dudes rolling on 24s and no sidewall whatsoever. Wasn't any Rev bombing because the 4x4 guys are all about function over everything, and my mostly stock at the time k10 checked all the boxes by just having nicer wheels & tires a brush guard and a canopy. Sadly those meets haven't happened since 2018.

Nobody read the fine print on the paper they sign for the warranty which basically Said any kind of change to the vehicle before the warranty end will VOID it out especially changing the wheel or other little miner stuff. If you don't believe it go read the paper you sign at the dealership.
