love your vids homie, your winch install was way better then the superatv instructional. Just got a 5150 whip and this helped a lot. Its good that you explain alot of the basic electrical stuff. Im mechanically inclined but have zero clue on electrical stuff. keep it up!

I ended up running my 187 whips wiring through the cage and found out there is a length limit to the controller. Can't make them too much longer than stock.
@@GLifeUTV It was not that big of deal. I just cut a few feet off and it worked great. But yes there was some glitching. The further one was glitching more than the closer one. I spliced it with some seven conductor alarm wire. It made it super easy to run through the cage.
I cannot get these to change colors with the music even when using it in microphone mode and not compatible with my pro box . I’ve even had a new module sent to me and that didn’t fix the problem either. It doesn’t work with Spotify it only works with purchased music in iTunes only
LED SWITCH WILL NOT DRAIN POWER I AM USING THE SAME KIND OF SWITCH IT HAS A BUILT-IN LED IT'S ON ALL OF THE TIME FOR MY LED LIGHT BAR, AND LED SWITCHES 100% NO BATTERY DRAIN .
The white wire for the brake lights on the 187 whips. Do you have to run one wire to each side like the signals,Or will the one wire control both? I know the signal wires on the controller need to go to right and left signal wires on the machine. Thanks.
@@GLifeUTV cool that’s what I ended up doing. But I have an issue, after I hooked up the blinker wires the brake lights turned amber instead of red. Do I need to run the blinker wires out past the brake light connection? I ask because when I disconnected the blinker wires the brake light went back to red. I think I may try that. By the way I like your channel I just subbed.
@@utahcoinhunter4792 They should only be amber when flashing from your turn indicator signal. when the turn signal is turned off, assuming your holding the brake it should be red again

Man that sucks i just bought 4 pack 5150 Rock Lights and Interior whip. I didn't see those Gen 2 rock lights on there website. WTH. Can I take trade them Frank?😎
Question: When i go to srew on my magnetic base, the nylon nut gets really hard to turn and then the bolt just starts turning and screwing back inside base and the inside part raises up so when i stick my flag in there it doesnt go all the way down, is mine broken or what??
@@GLifeUTV thank you, i stuck and allen wrench in the hole while turning the nut. I had to use pliers to hold the allen wrench in place. Went on nice and tight and looks really good.

But make sure you keep your receipt. I learned the hard way. Other brands cover their whips without the receipt. Keep that in mind.

One white wire to 1 of the brake circuits only

You can mount it. But no, it doesn't have to be grounded

You wire them with the 187 harness and for the hypers u use some adapters

Hold the Allen bolt so it doesn't move in the base
