I agree. I remember hearing this on a sampler CD sent to my store. I worked at Camelot Music at the time. I instantly thought of 2 British bands, Spandau Ballet and Wet Wet Wet. This song hit me like their songs "True" and "Love Is All Around" respectively. I knew it was a hit, I just wasn't sure if it would be here due to promotion. It was also our "Boy Band" era so New Kids On The Block, Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, and numerous others were flooding the airwaves. When I played it in store it sold. However, locally radio stations played it very little. I wasn't surprised as many great 80's and 90's British artists I like have recieved limited to no radio play here unless on a movie soundtrack or something.
