Not a single person here talking about this wonderful piece, played with such passion. Both musicians did an amazing job there. Such a colorful, interesting, and sweet sonata!
Ravel's Posthume A minor Sonata for violin and piano "Posthume" was beautifully played! I loved having the score to read to see the mind of Ravel in action!
It's amazing how the violinist doesn't give a f*** about the rhythm and the piano part And it's even more amazing how the pianist follows the violin 👏👏👏
haha, and I dislike it, it feels silly to me, where technically it would be possible that one doesn't have to stand the irritating turning of the page...
See, this is actually the stuff we want to have happen! When something hits this tier of composing, it’s hard to criticize, it’s its own beast! Luckily, that means our lesser Batina’s or lesser so-and-so’s have still SOME life to live lol 😂
The fly made me flinch so hard
I love the paradoxical strength of that title - it is very much in tune with Ravel's sense of humour
It was just called Violin Sonata. Posthume is because it was published only after Ravel had died.
