Hey everyone! I forgot to mention the case has an IP54 rating. They're the only case on my ranking with any dust/water resistance so they get an extra half point for that. This brings the total score up to 89! Also If I sound/look different I had a wisdom tooth taken out a day before filming so it was a bit tricky to speak in this video ✌
Hi bro, I have been using Jabra 75t and it’s facing some issues, now need a replacement. I’m a bass head, can u suggest good earbuds with as good bass without losing mids and highs?
The battery. Nothing was mentioned about if it was replaceable, when the battery was mentioned to be just there, over there behind the ear. It looks quite like an unscrewable battery that can be replaced conveniently.
Here's hoping it's an actual replaceable battery. For all the wireless earbuds my siblings have owned, they couldn't conveniently use even their expensive buds due to it dying alot quicker or could no longer store >30% charge or so, only after a year or earlier. I imagine this'll live alot longer with actual replaceable batteries. That said, I wish a slower charging is an option as well.
I looked around and it seems like it isnt replaceable, its so frustrating, they were so close to making the perfect product and instead chose to be like every one else and make a disposable device
Very comprehensive review and quick to add the Nothing Open Ear. Thank u it helps me in deciding which one to finally buy diddnt realize there are many open ear great options!😊
you have been the only chanel to gather usefull data. thank you so much, i was looking for info on the nothing ear but I might just buy the tozo open buds.
Two questions: 1. The squeeze controls, are these actually physical buttons, or is it all capacitive? Really prefer physical buttons. And can you turn the buds off via the physical buttons, or does it rely on the case to turn off (major painpoint for powerbeats) 2. You probably don't know this, but do you know if you can buy single buds as replacements? Lost one of my soundcore anker and only fix is seemingly to buy a whole new set, which feels wasteful. Ideally my next pair would allow me to buy single ones in case i have this issue again.
I use Perl pro every day, over 8 hour. But using in ear buds all day is making difficulties for health of ear tunnel. so I just got Tozo open and is pretty good to me.
I was about to say the same thing. I got mines and it's the best earbuds I've used ever for what I'm looking for. Definitely more of a daily driver for me than my ows pro.
If he doesn't have the free clips, how can he test them, and the app also doesn't work well in most areas especially if your not using a Huawei device.
I'm glad you mentioned the position of the buds greatly effecting the sound. I was very excited to try these headphones but for my ears, they seem to suffer in the exact same way as the Shokz OpenFit. If I push them a tiny bit with my fingers they sound amazing, but the moment I let go, I'm just not impressed with either of them. The soundcore aero fit pro don't do this with my ears and although I don't find them nearly as comfortable and nice to look at, the sound is still in a league above either of them. I wish Nothing had solved that issue, but maybe for second gen they will.
what a very scientific way to review headphones! full of rationale comparison. i've checked your review everytime when i interested to buy a new ones. Thanks for your review that made my life easier. 🙏
I have a pair of these Nothing Open Ears. They have better, deeper and punchier bass than the Oladance 2 and Pro, and the Shokz Open Fit. The stereo separation is excellent. Equalizer function is excellent. The pinch controls are better because it eliminates the chance of accidental contact interrupting a song or call. They’re my everyday use open ear headphones. Definitely happy with them.
Watching this really makes me appreciate Sony’s Linkbuds even more. I have used them for about 3 years, and I really enjoy them. They would score in the top of many of these categories. Sucks that the battery life is atrocious and they always break after a single year.
Hey, I actually just got these and found the pressure they put on the tragus/concha area of my ear became painful after ~1 hour of wear. Since you’ve tested so many, did you notice this? Are there any that you feel had a more comfortable fit?
@@pickyaudio glad to hear. Or maybe just half glad (??) 😅 since I’m looking forward to ear stick successor. Currently listening to “eusexua” by FKA twig on my ear stick.
Such a great review, you're the best! Subbed Would love a comparasion between the best semi in-ear buds including the Airpods 4, the Galaxy buds 3, and the Nothing Ear Sticks (I'm sure there are others but these are the most well known I believe)
Nice review and all but it's so hard to listen / watch these reviews for something audible like ear buds. I just bought a set of earbuds from Temu ($6.47) and they sounded terrible until I pushed them hard into my ears to where they made a seal of sorts, then they sounded nearly as good as my air pods, but one can't go around holding the ear buds in place 4 hours a day. This is what concerns me with the open air ear buds, I'm thinking they lose a lot of volume, bass and sound in general since they don't make a seal like a nice fitting set of ear buds can. Is that the case? Would I be disappointed with the volume and bass from an open air ear bud because so much is lost when they aren't pseudo sealed in my ear canals? Keep up with the videos, much appreciated. I want to ditch in ear ear buds due to tender ears but not if the quality is so far reduced
Not sure if you've revisited the Soundcore ones, but they added a volume booster EQ that I basically use all the time to get the volume I expect out of them. The Nothing Ear (open) look great, but the case makes me a little disappointed because of how pocketable some of the other cases can be. Oh, and one thing that you may want to test with all of the models is their performance in water. I have the Soundcore Aerofit Pro and they can survive rain and sweat, but if the diaphragm becomes wet, the sound quality becomes so poor that it's unusable until they dry. The IPX rating must just be for damage, not function. On the other hand, I found a video of someone with the Shokz OpenFit jumping into a pool and saying they still worked and sounded great. I sweat when I workout and I had to stop using the Soundcore because my sweat would ruin the sound until they dry, but no problems personally with the Shokz OpenFit Air. Anyway, thanks for the review!
Thanks for the heads up regarding heavy sweat blocking the driver! This is normal for a lot of drivers but some would be more prone than others for sure. Yes I did try the volume EQ boost a while back as well I honestly forgot about it
@@pickyaudio Rain also to blocked the driver on the Soundcore, even though the IPx5 should be fine in rain. I still use them all day at home, love the long battery life on them. But I leave them at home now.
I'll never understand why you would need wear sensors on a pair of open earbuds but that's just me. And of course I would pick the One More because of those tips. Thanks for the review nice job. 💯🔥🔥🇺🇸
i have the bose. love them. but... if wearing both of them the battery is like 4 to 6 hours.... if I wear one.. it last 7 to 8. and when wearing both... theres some connectivity issues.. cant wait to try the nothing.

I only care about sound quality so i was thinking about nothing ear stick or jbl live flex 3 but i have seen there are newer models now that you have not reviewed yet... Any suggestions?? Sorry about my bad english and thank you a lot for your reviews 💜
I love my Tozo Open Buds. They're all I need in open buds and I can buy three of them for the price of a single Nothing. I'd rather have two pairs of the Tozo so I can use one set while the other is charging.
@picky Please I need your recommendation currently in the market for a new earbud and i was wondering if you could pick from these two based on your experience SoundPEATS Capsule3 Pro+ VS Soundcore by Anker Liberty 4 ANC (My interest are great sound quality, ANC and fantastic call quality)
Feels like a bias or something is a bit off. with these being ranked higher than oladance. Not sure. Bose are indeed the Bassiest. And it's a lil sketch nothing is just instantly best. When their other products have a history of just being alright.
Oh wow, I was not expecting Nothing to step into the open-earbud market too. A seemingly reliable 1st gen product. Great video as always. (On a slightly related note, apparently Soundpeats is also releasing an earclip-style bud and QCY recently released a pair as well (Crossky C30).
